It was amazing stay. It feels like your own home. House was new and cleaned. Host was very friendly.

Clean, private, safe, spacious place. All the pictures, descriptions and house rules are accurate. If you are looking for a place where you can come and go 24/7 as you wish without feeling like you're imposing on your host this is it. Alec is a local that's there for you when you need help or suggestions but otherwise you don't know he's there. If you're looking for a mother hen to smother you this isn't the place.

We had a great time staying at Linda's place. It was very comfortable & a nice location. Wonderful size & spaces for us traveling with our two teens. Very cute place, comfortable, & lots of perks (2 bedrooms, living room separate, the kids enjoyed Peanut M&M's & a cookie, etc.) We didn't realize we wouldn't get cell phone service... but made for a nice mini-getaway from our electronic world ;) . Stayed in this home for one week with family. It was nice that the kids were able to get comfortable in their own space, and that my husband and I could have some privacy as well. The area is accessible to restaurants, stores, and close to the freeway. The house has two levels. The bottom area of the house is the space available to stay in. The area has two bedrooms, a living room, one bathroom, and an area to eat. Once staying in the house, we were able to become comfortable quick. The area was friendly and peaceful. Neighbors waved at us. There is a beautiful lake located in the backyard. It was a beautiful view when we looked outside the windows. Linda was very hospitable. She greeted us and gave us the key upon arrival. She also brought us some muffins one day. She also provided water in the fridge and some snacks. There were no issues with the cleanliness. The only worry I had was if Linda could hear my kids when they became rowdy at times with each other. One morning, I kept hearing footsteps upstairs. Besides this sound concern, I recommend this place because of the location, access, safety assurance, price, and the value of extra room for traveling families. The owner seemed like a very nice, trustworthy, respectable family oriented lady.

This is the separated basement of Linda's home. Linda was super nice and welcoming. cozy living area and 2 bedrooms as described. the area of town is very quiet and relaxed, with a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. it is about a short 30 minutes to the slopes and 20 minutes to downtown or the airport.

I felt right at home staying at Linda's. Linda is a Super Hostess. I was in Salt Lake for work and everyday I looked forward to having my dinner while enjoying the lake in her back yard.

Great place to stay for small family of three. Linda was great. A particular highlight for the kids was getting to feed the ducks and geese on the lake. The kitchenette is microwave only, but there are ample places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay again.

my host made sure there was available closet space, left me toiletries, put up nightlights to find my way at night, shared meals when she was home, showed me the ins and outs of the entertainment system, and gave me recommendations for dining and shopping. A very gracious hostess.

My stay at Jerri's cottage was perfect. Her hospitality and baked goods were the best! The cottage had everything I needed and is in a great location to head to the ski resorts.

Jerri & her husband David, were very accommodating to our needs. The vintage style cottage gave us the feeling of home. We enjoyed being tucked away from the busy city. The fireplace added a touch of ambiance while, snuggling together reading or watching movies. In the bedroom were antique dressers that provided ample space for our clothes, as well as a nostalgic feeling. Inside the closet were quilted spreads for extra warmth. Jerri made a lovely breakfast our first morning, which added a special touch. We were welcomed with Jerri bringing flowers from her yard & chamomile tea from their garden. The quaintness of the kitchen with everything close at hand and selected old-fashioned kitchen items made it nice to cook meals. Having the washer & dryer inside the house added bonus. We were in the process of relocating to Utah, and needed to access to the internet and when the internet connection, when it wasn't working well, Jerri provided us with a gift card at a local coffee shop to help support better service. The property was well maintained and when the Hurley's, gave us a tour and history of Murray, we felt connected to the community. There was a folder providing places to eat & things to see, as well as brochures to help guide us around the neighborhood. In having two vehicles, we were able to park one of the cars in front of the apt. which was exceptionally nice. This property was perfect for our stay to be centralized in the town & find our way around to grocery, department stores and resteraunts. We are looking forward to returning here and discovering more.

Jerri is a great hostess. The Vintage cottage is a great place to stay. Quiet, clean and spacious in a great location. It is cute and comfortable. Jerri has thought of everything. My stay was delightful.

The cottage was exactly as described and Jerri made it very easy to get in contact. The yard was so nice with lots of trees and grasses. We loved how cozy it was there and how Jerri made us feel welcome! There is a fireplace in the main room which heats the whole house and it worked wonderfully. The whole place had a lovely cottage feel, from start to finish. It was quiet and peaceful there. We want to go back next time we are in SLC!

Jerri was the kindest, most generous host I could have asked for. The first morning she made the most amazing breakfast and brought it over to me. The cottage was so cozy and had everything I needed. It definitely felt like a home away from home. It was in a good location that was close to good restaurants, hiking trails, and not a far drive to downtown Salt Lake City. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this cottage for anyone looking to spend some time in Salt Lake City.

This is my second stay at Jerri and David's delightful cottage. It is comfortable and cozy with everything one would need for short or longer stays - This trip was 12 days for me. Jerri is a perfect communicator and such a gracious hostess. I'll return for sure.

Jerri's place is very secluded, yet surprisingly near many major stores. Her house and the cabin (where you would be staying) are located on a larger piece of property, giving you the feeling of being out in the country. In fact, there are several old pear trees on the property, and there was a box of pears in the refrigerator, small, organic, a bit wizened with age, but the best I've ever eaten. Jerri is a very gracious hostess, and the cabin is completely charming, complete with a warm and toasty gas fireplace. One note- if you're a country person and can roll with the punches, you might do better than a city person staying here, as there are sugar ants (little bitty non-biting ants) who also appreciate getting in out of the cold!

My three kids and I enjoyed a relaxing couple of nights at the Hurley's garden cottage. Both Jerri and her husband warmly welcomed us on our arrival and explained the ins and outs of the cottage. Everything was as described in the listing. Linens were clean, towels were plentiful and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage is ideally suited for a couple but it sleeps four without a problem and my daughter tells me the blowup mattress was super comfortable! Jerri is a wonderful cook. In addition to breakfast, she brought us a delicious cobbler one evening. She was also generous with her time, offering suggestions for places to visit nearby. At the same time, they allowed us privacy when we wanted it.

Jessica is a great host. The communication was great, she picked me up bagels and juice for breakfast. Jessica even offered to carry my suitcase. The location is updated, modern and we'll kept. The view of the mountains is awesome. I would definitely stay again.

Jessica's Airbnb location was quiet, high class and extremely clean (both the neighborhood and the rooms I rented). This place is recently remodeled and has the appearance that I would expect a 5 star hotel would have. Plenty room for several people and the kitchen is well-furnished.... a chef's culinary dream.... I'll stay there again.... btw the bathroom is very nicely made and the walk-in shower is open and wonderful/professionally built.

Jessica's place is awesome!! We had six girls spend the night and each one of us was comfortable. The kitchen space is great and I love how organized the place is. Convenient check-in and Jessica answered any questions we had promptly. This was a great convenient location. Went to The Hog Wallow Pub (fun live music!), Hub and Spoke Diner for breakfast (yum!), and ended the trip watching a movie at the Sundance Film Festival. Couldn't have been a more perfect girls weekend. :)

Very clean place, Chris' communication is excellent. However, if you're above 6ft i could imagine this place would be a little too small for you due to the ceiling height.

Did not get to meet the host, but he was reachable via airbnb.com chat. Internet was very fast. Apartment was large. The ceilings are low, so tall people will need to be attentive to ductwork and overhead glass light fixtures. Would stay again. A great value.

Bryce was super kind and helpful, easy to communicate with, prompt...nice guy. I felt completely safe in the neighborhood. He left candy on the table, candles in the kitchen & bedroom... nice bath tub too. I was surprised a new toothbrush kit was waiting as well as bath amenities. This rental is very close to the mountains! We really enjoyed the location and were pleased with the communication with Bryce. The place was a good value for $60. You do get what you pay for. It is minimalist, but has everything you would need. (It has the feel of a college apartment: stains on the comforter, egg crate mattress topper, etc.). It provides basic accommodations on a budget. There were a couple of maintenance issues that we encountered while staying there: water leaks in the bathroom & air vents much in need of cleaning. We communicated them with Bryce, and based on his quick responsiveness, I'm confident they will be resolved for the next guests.

This is an excellent spot to stay for access to great skiing. 6-7 minutes to the park-and-ride to pick up the ski bus, or less than 30 minutes drive to the mountains. The apartment is easy to find, and the neighbors quiet. We arrived on superbowl sunday, and Bryce even left out snacks for us! He is a great host and very good with communication. Would stay again!

We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but it was a great location for access to the canyons for skiing. The location made it very easy to do everything we wanted and there were lots of great restaurants on the State Street right by his house. Marcel is a great host and was very helpful/thoughtful. The place is exactly as advertised. Clean. Comfortable. Good location. It was only my wife and I, but it can hold several additional people comfortably. Solid choice.

If you're looking for an affordable and great skiing experience then staying at Marcel's place is a must. The room is very clean, spacious, close to the resorts bus station ($15 Uber ride), and within a walking distance of dozens of restaurants. But probably the biggest benefits of staying there is Marcel's experience and his willingness to help. When we got there we had no idea of how anything worked. Marcel pointed us in the right direction, saving us time and money. That sort of local insight you can't find at hotels. We recommend this experience to anyone and we're definitely coming back for more.

Although I never met Jim during my short stay, his girlfriend was able to show me around and get me settled. I only stayed one night and was only there to recover from my adventures, so I wasn't there much. Prior to, Jim was great with communicating check in. The bed was very comfy (sure slept well). :)

The house is older and quaint. The room clean w desk and chair next to window if wanted to sit and read. It is central to stores, gas etc in Murray area. It was 3minutes or so from where I needed to be on my trip.

Jim was a very nice host with terrific communication and flexibility on check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the house was very quiet. Bathroom was big with great hot, hot water in the shower! Jim was extremely cordial to offer coffee/tea and laundry facility as needed. Nice quiet , private place to stay!

I stayed two nights at Jim's place. It's located in a good neighborhood with businesses not too far of a drive away. Jim was a really good host accommodating my request for early check-in and offering the use of an extra portable heater if I felt cold during my stay. Jim's place has fiber connection hence access to high-speed internet. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jim's place.

This was a great bolthole in the Salt Lake City area of Murray. Myself and some family members were visiting family in the local area and wanted our own space. Ryan and his family were very welcoming, friendly hosts. The apartment was immaculate, well decorated and very comfortable, with good cooking facilities, wifi and laundry access. It was an ideal home away from home for the week and we would highly recommend it to others. The neighbourhood is lovely and there is easy access to Murray, Salt Lake Downtown, Sugarhouse and the mountains.

The listing is fairly accurate for the space - cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Ryan was a good host and was easy to communicate with. It was good for our short little stay and is pretty close to the highway, as well as a ton of restaurants and other attractions. I only have a few small complaints... The noise upstairs was pretty loud and unrelenting throughout the day (this is mentioned in the listing briefly). I also found the shower really uncomfortable to use. The space sort of seems unfinished in general and could use a bit of polishing, including the cabinets in the kitchen, old finishings in the bathroom, and the hole in the roof of the master bedroom. Ultimately, I think this listing would work quite well for someone looking for a bargain, and I'd have no issue staying here again.

Ryan and Jamie were amazing! The apartment was exactly how they pictured it and had everything one would need. We stayed for a month while our new home was being built and it was an amazing experience. Ryan was really good in communicating with us. once we booked for the place got the confirmation and started sending email. i sent him a message 10 mins before we get there and he responded so quick. host was so friendly when we get to the place. the description on the listing was accurate. safe and quiet neighborhood. my husband was nervous at first cause it's our first time to use Airbnb but with our experience with Ryan and Jayme we are very satisfied and feel safe. we go for vacation every summer and this time we are going to use Airbnb.

The Ryan's were amazing hosts! The place looks exactly as shown in the pictures. It's beautiful, clean, fully furnished and has its own private entrance. It also had all the amenities we needed as well as things to keep our 3 yr old entertained. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and only a few minutes away from many restaurants and shopping places. We highly recommend it!

This was our 1st experience with Airbnb and it was AWESOME!!! The apartment was more than we could have asked for. Super clean, lots of space and beautifully decorated! We slept well and enjoyed the area a lot. Super quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for everything...minutes to Downtown and just around the mountain from everything south. The small yard was a huge plus (we have 2 small kids). Ryan and his family were very helpful and super friendly. The next time we are in Utah this is the ONLY place we will stay.

The location and the basement apartment was as described. The location is close to a fresh market and a nice park for walks. The apartment was tidy but needs a little bit more attention to cleanliness, but the overall experience was great for us.

Everything was just as it was pictured and even better. The unit was very clean and super comfortable and updated. It was an extremely relaxing space and the beds very so restful. There is a full kitchen stocked with all of the utensils and pans and pots you might need and a coffee maker. The location was so ideal: very residential and quiet and yet close to department stores, restaurants and groceries, in their suburb or downtown. (Downtown was only about 15 minutes away). I would definitely stay again and the hosts were kind and accommodating.

This was a great stay after a long icy drive. Hostess was very accommodating and understanding of us getting in late due to weather. She offered us coffee I the morning, and didn't mind our insane cat meowing early in the morning. Simple and comfortable space

Neighborhood was family oriented, mainly single- family ranchers. Anthony is in process of doing finishing touches in some areas of house but guest room, bathroom, etc were completed nicely. Anthony's guest room was ample sized, a bit bigger than I pictured. Bed very comfortable and the room has two windows, much to our liking. Closet too. Bathroom was next door always had a clean scent. Guest area is one one side of his living area, and part of it. Had great coffee, fruit, healthy bread etc. He was very welcoming and was a real help with any questions we had.

Anthony was really nice and a great host, my room was clean and ready by the I got there, (which it was late at night). The room looked just like the pictures. The bed was super comfy and an actual bed, the bathroom was recently redone which was a great plus. Anthony's place is in a great spot, is definitely the perfect location, Nordstrom (Mall), Red Lobster, Red Robin with in walking distance, Costco, Starbucks, Chipotle, Chick-fil-a, and other venues with in a 5 minute drive. Easy access to 215 Interstate. His Cat was super friendly and Marley his doggie wasn't loud at all. I will stay there next time I am in town without question.

Anthony is a great guy to hang out with and is extremely accommodating. I had a great time during my stay, and Anthony was very generous in sharing his space with me and my pup. His pets are great to have around as well and got along great with mine.

My stay at Anthony's went really smoothly. He was working the night I arrived but had given me clear instructions about how to get to the room. Everything looked just like the pictures and was 100% clean and welcoming. His pets and cute and friendly and not any trouble at all. Anthony is a has a very relaxed, friendly vibe. We had coffee (he picked up my favorite creamer before my stay) and we chatted a bit while watching the olympics together the first morning I was there. He's a cool guy :) I was traveling alone and as a woman it can be a little concerning to stay in someone's house with them but Anthony was excellent and gave me my space. Everything was just about right..but the bed was beyond right, it was heaven! Anthony was away just as we arrived but days ahead everything was all sorted out -- from keys to where everything else is in the house & informed us of who will take care of his pets while he's out. The pets. The pets made the whole stay even more unforgettable. Adorable Marley & often aloft Kiddie Cat made us feel welcome - for us who have no problem with pets, the 2 actually sleep on the bed with us for 2 days. They certainly filled Anthony's absence. Anthony did keep regular contacts with us, to check if everything is in order. We finally met the day we are about to leave, & it was great. Awesome host! When in SLC, you know where to stay!!!

My host (Anthony) was a very easy going guy, with a very friendly dog and nice cat. The guest room and bathroom were extremely clean, and Anthony gave me access to everything in the fridge and made morning coffee for me too.

Kind of a simple thing, but I liked how there were cleaning supplies available for our use. This is a beautiful, two-thumbs up place! This was my dad's first Airbnb experience, and he was thoroughly impressed. Laurie was a great host and provided us with all of the information we needed. The neighbors were friendly and quiet, the beds were delightfully comfortable, the amenities were great, and so was the location! I highly recommend staying here.

The description was very accurate, the place was immaculate! It was a very private and quiet basement apartment. Great home away from home with a full kitchen and living room, very comfortable bed, nice shower and a large garden tub. Although we never met with him, J was a great host! He was responsive and accommodating. He even left us sparkling cider and Cliff bars on the counter. As well as provided kitchen paper products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We loved our first AirBnb thanks to J! We will definitely be back.

We had a great time while staying in the apartment. It is indeed spacious, clean and, despite being a basement apartment, gets a surprising amount of light, which makes the apartment light and enjoyable. It is situated such that it offers easy access to the Wasatch Mountain Range and ski areas. The kitchen equipment might not let you cook a 3 course meal, but J was quick and accommodating with helping out with things we needed.

J was a great host and his home is everything that the ad listed and more! It's the perfect spot if you just want a quiet, comfortable getaway. It's in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood that's still close to anything and everything in Salt Lake City. Even though we never got to meet face to face, J was always available by text and quickly provided anything that we needed. The home was immaculate and reminded me of one of the fancy resorts on Maui. I would definitely suggest this beautiful home to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place in a nice area, owned and operated by an amazing host. Thank You J for a great trip! I'll be sure to be looking for you again in August.

J made us feel very confident and comfortable as this was my first time in Utah and our first Airbnb experience. we stayed for 5 nights and we couldn't have asked for more and we doubt we will find a better place to stay especially for the money. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and that also goes for the house we stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and the jetted tub/shower felt very relaxing. I was able to connect my iPhone and laptop to his tv via his Apple TV which enabled me stream video content from my phone was was a great bonus.

Brian & his girlfriend were absolutely amazing. Great people and great hosts. I got in late when I arrived (2 AM) and we had coordinated for him to leave the key for me. The room and house were great. Very close to the ski resorts and easy to access from the freeways. I hope to stay over there again on my next trip to UT. Thank you guys for being amazing hosts!

I highly recommend staying here! Brian hosted me while I was doing a summer internship up in Salt Lake City. The location is convenient if you need to get to the city, even if you don't have a car. The house itself was very cozy and comfortable, and the private bathroom was great. Although I rarely needed anything, Brian was always quick to respond when I did. I would definitely stay here again!

Brian made it very easy for me to move in, he communicated promptly and made sure everything was ready as promised. My room had an en suite bathroom and shower. The room and house was very clean and comfortable. They also had a very friendly boxer named Sammie that I looked forward to seeing each day. I stayed with Brian for six weeks while I skied. The location was convenient as I had a car and could normally drive to the resort in 40 minutes or less. Parking at Brian's house was not a problem, either in the driveway or on the street in front. His home is on a cul-de-sac so traffic was not an issue. The house has three rooms upstairs that are rented out and included access to the living room, the kitchen and the back porch. There was a new washer and dryer downstairs I used when needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Salt Lake City area.

This was our first Airbnb experience and really didn't know what to expect. On arrival we were made feel very welcome by Brian. It is a great location for rail transport and supermarket. Didn't spend much time with hosts as they respect your privacy but are very helpful to any problems you may have. Brian and Kirsten practically give you the freedom of the house which makes you feel at home. Bed was very comfortable and having an en suite was a great advantage. Was sad to hear the dog had passed away though as we are great dog lovers. Great Airbnb and would definitely stay here again. "Highly Recommend"

Both Brian and his girlfriend are really friendly and great hosts. I spent a decent amount of time in the common areas and while I felt like I had the place to myself a lot, I always felt welcome when sharing it with them. House is minimal and clean, and room is as pictured. The bed is really comfortable and the closet is plenty big with hangers. There is no dresser in the room but plenty of floor space. Kitchen is nice with plenty of cabinet of fridge space. There is an oven + stove but no microwave so consider that when meal planning and prepping. They do have a dog who is really sweet and friendly. House is really close to interstates, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. As mentioned in other reviews there are two other Air BnB rooms on the same floor which is something to be aware of, but it was never an issue during my stay as all other guests were friendly. I stayed for a month on work and it was a great place to come back to. Would recommend and would stay again!

We stayed at Brian's place couple of times. Both times we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time entire house is occupied by us so we feel that we are at home. There is little problems with shower for the first stay. Hosts took care of it. So we are very happy with stay and will consider next time when we are back in Town

The hosts were both nice and friendly. They live in a lower level suite and make the first floor available. The house is on a quiet residential street but very close to the highways to get around. the room is on the first floor, large and has a private bath and windows that open. The house has a nice back porch where i sat outside and read kindle for a while one night. i would definitely stay again.
