Beautiful Woodland hobbit/fairy/witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our new roundhouse. Built from natural materials, nearly all from the woodland around it and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, swim in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.
The roundhouse is part of our permaculture farm and campsite and is nestled away in 40 acres woodland. It has a compost toilet nearby and there is a hot shower and regular toilet available at the farm. For sleeping it has a double bed, a double sofa bed and big single bed. We will provide all bedding (but not towels). For cooking it has a double ring gas burner (and BBQ/Firepit outside), running water and a sink as well as most of the pots/pans/plates/mugs etc you could need. Its also got 12v lighting and a socket to plug in your phone (but its is truly off-grid and has no mains electricity). It is worth saying that the Roundhouse is in the woods and is about 300m from your car through the field and woods. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner.
We are in a beautiful corner of the world, we are only 10 miles from M'nt Snowdon and only a mile to the beach, on the corner of the stunning Llynn Peninsula.
  • So, at first I didn’t want to even write a review. Only because I kinda want to keep this place all to my self. I 100% recommend this trip to anyone that has an outdoorsy bone in their body. I planned this trip for my wife, my 1 month old baby and my doggy only 12 hours before we left. This farm is pure magic and the energy there is unmatched, the roundhouse was perfect and has everything you could ever want (just be sure to bring some boots). The furnace was warm, having a gas hob made cooking a breeze, and there’s a sink with running water (only cold water, but no complaints there) which made doing dishes so easy, they had more than enough blankets and the scenery is unbelievable. 3 days just wasn’t enough. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of nature and miss the uninterrupted sound of birds singing. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would. Much love.

Closed during lockdown. Paddleboard is a cosy little cottage with loads of character. Remote location for families to escape. This is a perfect, peaceful location right on the Menai Strait. Whether you want watersports, a spot of fishing, a stroll with the dog along the shore or just relax with a good book. Located just 5 minutes away from the A55, Paddleboard is a perfect hub from which to explore the delights of Anglesey and Snowdonia. Moel y Don Cottage is also available here
Living Room is open plan upstairs with a simple well stocked kitchen: fridge with icebox, electric oven with gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Bedrooms are located downstairs and comprise of: 1 bedroom has a kingsize bed. 1 bedroom has two single beds. Bathroom is compact but has everything you need - shower over bath, sink, toilet, mirror and heated towel rail. The hot tub is available to rent at an extra cost of £35 for single use or £50 for the duration of your stay. We try our very best to be kind to our planet and have started by doing the following simple things: We were involved with the creation of the Plastic Free Anglesey campaign. We provide shampoo/conditioner/handsoap stored in refillable bottles and produced by a responsible local firm. The coffee/tea/sugar/treats are all fairtrade. Our laundry is all done by a local company, again using responsible methods. Power supplied to the house is sourced from renewables. We encourage all our guests to use our recycling facilities.
You can enjoy this tranquil haven and yet have buzz of Menai Bridge (renowned for great pubs and restaurants) Snowdonia National park and lots of golden sandy beaches within easy reach. Enjoy a sundowner on the decked terrace, or stroll down to the water's edge, enjoy the varied bird life, watch the tide ebb and flow or simply watch the fabulous sunsets bounce off the water. If you have a thirst for adventure then this area is an absolute must. Rib rides on the Straits (one of the best ways to see Anglesey by boat), surf in the mountains (really!), learn to kite board, go for a zip wire experience, do the tree top adventures, or visit the many National Trust houses - take your pick, it is all here and we can point you in the right direction. Hot tub rental available at £35/night or £50 for your stay.
  • An excellent host- couldn't have been more helpful or enthusiastic! Thanks very much!

  • Paddleboard Cottage is a little gem with wonderful hosts in Nicki & Tom (and family). The cottage is well appointed, clean and cosy and is itself a lovely historic wood beam building. There is a small garden with hot tub where you can soak up the afternoon sun (or rain!) and enjoy the views over the Menai Straight towards Snowdon; our 4yr old simply loved it and it gave us a really lovely family activity to do together at the end of a busy day exploring. Location wise it is great, 10 mins drive from Menai Bridge, so within easy reach of the castles and adventure activities on the mainland but nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of mainland too. The shoreline is 100m from the cottage and at low-tide a large sandbar provides a fab place to exercise the dog and enjoy the space, light and peace (and wind!). There is a lovely church just behind the cottage and coastal walks you can do from the cottage so you don't have to get in the car if you dont want to. 10 mins away is the charming Sea zoo and Foel Farm and Anglesea Salt factory. Whilst we did not have time to explore much of Anglesea we loved all three attractions and they provided a great (and not commercialised) activity to do with our 4yr old. Nice and gentle! Food was great, we ate at Dylans in Menai Bridge which does awesome seafood and the Erskine in Conwy (after a long which served an amazing Sunday roast. All-in-all the cottage, hosts, location and the area gave us 3 amazing days and I highly recommend it!

  • We loved our stay at paddleboard. The perfect cosy place for a getaway. This is our third trip to paddleboard and I'm sure we will be back again! Nicki is an excellent host. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay x

    Alice2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Paddleboard Cottage. The perfect location to explore beautiful Anglesey. Despite a wild and wet weekend, we were cosy and warm in the cute and beautifully styled cottage and even a managed some time in the hot tub looking at the gorgeous view over the Menai Straight. Nicki was indeed a super host. Thanks very much.

    Susannah2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for exploring Anglesey.

    Eduardas2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Nicki's place. The little house was very clean and well furnished. The beds in particular were very comfortable. Nicki was extremely helpful and welcoming, without being intrusive. The property is in a lovely location with easy access to most places on the island.

  • Lovely place and ideal for a family holiday with a dog. Very welcoming hosts :)

    Andrew2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Paddleboard Cottage. The cottage itself is great: well-equipped, comfortable and clean, and in a great location for exploring the area. Nicki was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were staying there during Storm Ciara and Nicki very kindly braved the elements to come and check we were ok and to see if we needed any supplies to see us through the weather! We would definitely recommend Nicki and Paddleboard Cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area, and are hoping to return ourselves very soon!

Enjoying its own private hot tub and delightful panoramic views over meadowland and hills, this comfortable and very spacious holiday home, set near the owner’s home, makes an ideal base from which to explore the glorious surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park, and is just 1 mile from a lovely, sandy beach. Historic Caernarfon, 6 miles, boasts a magnificent castle. Beach front bar/bistro. Shop and pub 1 mile. Well behaved pets welcome.
Private hot tub located on a patio with table and chairs. The patio has panoramic views of Snowdonia. Steps lead down to very large enclosed & fenced lawn. Interior space is all one level and has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, very spacious open-plan lounge/ dining room, bathroom with walk-in shower & spa bath and separate W.C. There is also a study/children's games room with children's multi-games table (air-hockey, table-tennis,pool, bar-billiards etc)
The area offers opportunities for beach activities, flying, golfing, walking, climbing, sailing, scuba diving, zip wire, cycling, fishing, horse riding or exploring the areas' many castles and historical and archaeological sites. Here are five activities that make for a great day out for both adults and children here in North Wales: 1. Zip World Snowdonia Zip World offers a unique range of activities within the Snowdonia National Park, including zip lining, underground quarry exploration and trampolining deep inside a former slate mine. One of their most popular activities is the zip line known as Velocity. This zip line is the longest in Europe, and boasts the title of the fastest zip line in the world. You’ll be flying at speeds of well over 100mph, so it’s certainly not an activity for the faint hearted! For those who manage to take in the view whilst travelling along the zip line, you’ll experience rewarding panoramic views of the quarry beneath, Anglesey and even the Isle of Man on clear days.If Velocity seems a little bit too much, Bounce Below should be your next choice. You’ll be taken down by train into a former slate mine which has been converted into a trampolining paradise. Atmospherically lit and featuring six levels of trampolines as well as four slides which are the height of two double-decker buses, it’s a fantastic day out for everyone. 2.Snowdonia Railway There are a number of steam train railways which take visitors along on scenic routes around the Snowdonia National Park. One railway in particular is the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which travels up and down from the summit of Snowdon each day. Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway gives those who aren’t able, or don’t want to climb a steep mountain the chance to witness the impressive views from the summit. The Ffestiniog Railway has been in business for over 150 years and stretches for 40 miles through the Snowdonia National Park. The railway service allows its guests to enjoy the beautiful sights from the comfort of a traditional steam train carriage. They have a range of full and half day journeys available to choose from. 3. Dragon Raiders Activity Park - Paintballing in Snowdonia The Dragon Raiders Activity Park is a 30 minute drive away from the holiday park. It offers a range of activities, from paintballing to group segway rides. If you can get together a group from the park, their paintball park is a brilliant day out.Set within 30 acres of Welsh forest, there are four specially designed paintball zones to explore. There’s also a shooting gallery to test your skills and prepare yourself for the day ahead. For those who don’t like the sound of paintballing, the Dragon Raiders Segway Adventures are a fun way to navigate through the surrounding forests. You can choose between a relaxing forest trek and an off-road rally trek, but don’t worry – you’ll receive a gliding suit to prevent you from getting too muddy! 4. Greenwood Forest Park This unique adventure park has a number of interesting attractions, including the UK’s first solar powered water ride and the world’s first people powered roller-coaster.There’s also the BareFoot Trail, which encourages you to get your socks off and safely walk through a range of different environments. Children can enjoy the Giant Jumper, as well as the Longbow Archery activity. During the summer months, donkey rides are also available at the Greenwood Forest Park. 5. Electric Mountain Tour You’ll be taken around the Dinorwig Power Station, which was build within a mountain to reduce the impact on the natural countryside of North Wales. The power station comprises of underground tunnels, spanning a total of 16km.

  • Fabulous location for Snowdon, the coat and surrounding areas. Underfloor heating kept the property lovely and warm for a January stay. Wet coats dried overnight which was a pleased surprise after reading other reviews with concerns around drying items. Enclosed garden was excellent, lovely size and perfect for 3 small dogs and had obviously been checked for any holes in the fence. Owner next door but very private and did not disturb us. Lovely stay with lovely walks nearby. Plan to stay again.

  • I stayed here for a night for my partner's 30th birthday. David is a very welcoming host and ensures that you have everything that you could need or want during your stay, even starting the fire for us before we came. The coach house is beautiful and cosy, a perfect place to escape and relax.

    Becky2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful escape into rural peace and quiet! The bed was super comfy, the wood burner kept the barn warm even in the midst of a storm; full of character and we were made to feel very welcome. You would be hard pushed to meet anyone else as warm hearted, with all the rescue animals around. We explored beaches and walked up near Snowdon. A very special place!

    Laura2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Gorgeous property! Excellent hospitality! Beautiful antiques in the space. You must love a friendly dog, cats and horses... we did! Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks again, David!

  • What a wonderful stay! Perfect accommodations for our brief time in the area. The carriage house is lovingly restored and very comfortable. David is an incredibly gracious host. If he’s able to cook for you, highly recommend you take him up on the offer. The meal was amazing. Absolutely a very charming experience and recommend without hesitation.

    Christopher2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • David is a really friendly host, making extra effort to make sure we were comfortable despite very stormy weather e.g. making sure we had logs for the fire, keeping us stocked up with the basics and checking-in every so often to make sure we had everything we needed. We opted in for dinner on one of the nights and it was really lovely Would recommend for anyone looking to have a comfortable stay in Snowdonia, as the place is located perfectly for visiting mount Snowdon and the surrounding areas

    Becca2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

  • Peace and tranquillity. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Very private location with great scenery, gentle local walks, and the coast and drama of Snowdonia within a few miles. Having said this, except for a couple of early morning forays round the local lanes, we didn't budge from in front of the open fire, reading and doing jigsaws, stroking Charlie the ginger cat. Would return and would highly recommend.

Everything was just perfect and I really cannot wait to visit again, I would highly recommend visiting to all my family and friends! We enjoyed a lovely glass of Cava in the evening with warm blankets and snacks before bed, and used the kitchen facilities to cook a English breakfast! I have some wonderful pictures of your dogs and cats, they absolutely loved my little Sister, they wouldn’t leave her alone the entire visit! The dogs loved placing fetch with a stick, and also knocked for us to come and play with a stick in their mouths at 9am this morning! Lovely dogs! Lovely touch with the milk, sauces, shampoo, conditioner and lots more!! Thanks again! P.s thanks again for keeping hold of the bits we didn’t spot when packing away! Amy x

  • Great property. Clean and tidy. All you need for a home from home. To arrive after a 5 hour drive and have the basics in place (tea, coffee, milk and sugar) so you can just come in and put the kettle on, that’s service. Property has great views over the valley and out to sea. The area is rural and very peaceful. Only a 5 minute drive to Zipworld which was handy. Will definitely be going back in the summer when the weather will hopefully be better.

It's a nice quiet location so great to be able to chill and then head out to wherever you plan to visit. Andrea was a brilliant host, she responded very quickly to my messages and helped us with handy tips on where to visit. Definitely recommend.

You will find a warm welcome awaits you in our pink fronted terraced cottage in a quiet rural village, off the beaten track . It is perfect for one or two adults but not suitable for children. Must love dogs as we have two friendly pooches (see photos). Ideal location for Snowdonia. Please note there is no parking by the cottage, parking is on the road just up from the terrace. Please use our postcode to guide you to us as the directions on Airbnb take you to the wrong village!!!
This is our home which we love to share, your bedroom is accessed by stairs. You are welcome to use the kitchen , as the cooking source is a solid fuel Rayburn ask for help if required. A variety of teas and coffee are always available so feel free to brew up. Bed linen and towels are provided. Although there is no parking on the property there is always parking on the road. Our home is a one minute walk to Mynydd Cilgwyn Mountain which is heather covered in summer and autumn and a beautiful place to see and experience nature. We are located just outside the stunning Snowdonia National Park and a Dark Sky Area. There is a stunning view from our decking towards Anglesey/Ynys Môn, you can see Caernarfon Castle, The Rivals/Yr Eifl, the Menai Strait and sometimes Ireland on a very clear day.
The neighbourhood is quiet, house is at the edge of a small village. Its ideal for anyone who likes peace and tranquillity, outdoors and walking. There are some great places to eat a short drive away.

This is a ground floor apartment based in the village of Talysarn 7 miles from the town of Caernarfon in North Wales. Located in the Nantlle Valley with local scenic walks including the Dorothea Quarry.
Guests will have their own private bedroom with en suite and walk in closet, private living room space with dining table and kitchen with basic cooking equipment.
Talysarn is a small village with stunning walks, unfortunately there are no shops or pubs in the village, but there are a couple of shops and takeaways in the next village, Penygroes.

Our Victorian cottage has undergone extensive renovation. Beautifully finished to a high standard, original features are complimented by modern styling and facilities. Nantlle is located inside Snowdonia National Park - the top-ranked tourist attraction in Wales - famed for its awesome beauty and wealth of tourist attractions. A range of local amenities are easily accessible by car including a cosy pub, shops, a beach and even a royal castle.
The cottage has been created as a super comfortable base for exploring Snowdonia. Located next to the historic Dorothea Quarry and Lakes there are walks literally on your doorstep into Snowdonia National Park. The whole area is beautiful. The cottage itself has plenty of space for upto 4 adults ( and children over 5 ) and a couple of well trained dogs. We have renovated and equipped the cottage to a very high standard, with super efficient heating to make nights in during the cold winter season a treat and super fast broadband to keep you connected (if you wish). It has a large comfortable lounge with tons of period features, including a huge stone inglenook fireplace. We have included an HD Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Movies and apps for BBC, ITV, CH4 and CH5. You are able to rent movies directly through the TV. Adjacent to the living room is the the big bright kitchen/dining/utility area, leading onto the rear gardens and the shower room. This space is equipped with all you need to cook and dine in style. The luxury shower room is also in the ground floor with large rain shower and stylish modern bathroom suite. On the first floor we have a big master bedroom including a super king size oak bed, plus a super comfy twin room with adult sized bunk beds which have proved to be the favourite sleeping spot of our guests. We have outside spaces front and back, with a lovely landscaped and tiered back garden with views over the cottage towards the Nantlle Ridge. The rear garden also has direct access to the walks into Dorothea including the Snowdonia National Parks Slate Trail and Pilgrims Way.
Nantlle is the most Westerly village in Snowdonia National Park. As well as being the gateway to the sights and historic towns of the area, Nantlle itself boasts the iconic Dorothea Quarry and Lakes, with the deepest inland diveing site in the UK. Dorothea and the adjacent quarry are no longer mined, but the infrastructure and flooded mining pits have created a huge area reminiscent of middle earth crossed with jurassic park - unique and quite stunning! The main Nantlle upper lake is also great for wild swimming and permits are available to fish by boat for brown trout. Access to the Nantlle Ridge walk and cycling routes also start in the village. Just up the road we have Pant Du, a lovely Welsh vineyard producing wines and ciders from their own crops. A must see.
  • Perfect place for a little getaway. We followed the walks recommended by Gary that were local; we couldn’t get anywhere else due to public restrictions (Covid-19) so the local walks were perfect. Views are incredible! Especially if you stand at the top of the garden with your morning coffee and look back over the house! Gary phoned me a couple of days before check in and guided us through the directions and little tips. Made us feel very much at ease prior to travelling. There’s a dog beach about 10 mins away which is huge! And perfect for the dogs. Unless yours is like mine who chased seagulls for about 30 mins! 🤦‍♀️ All in all a great place. Great village. Great host. We will be back next year!

    Adele2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location for Snowdon or similar. Great for dogs and long walks. Communication spot on from booking to arrival. Brilliant and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

  • We stayed at Dorothea cottage and had such a lovely time. It's a lovely space, in a beautiful setting. The added touches in the shower room, meant it was nice to come home from a big walk and have a bit of pampering. Highly recommended.

    Sophie2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage, really enjoyed our stay - wanted for nothing. Great views on the doorstep. Very thorough joining instructions and lots of lovely touches to make us feel at home.

    Helen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a chic, stylish cottage with tons of history from the slate mountains, this place is for you! Every detail has been thought through and this cosy cottage is immaculate having been renovated recently. From the welcome basket, organic bathroom products to the doggie bags hanging outside, it was all there for you and very well thought through. Gary's comms were great and the day before we had a good phone chat about how not to use Google maps to find the cottage until arriving at Nantlle otherwise one would find themselves around the side of a narrow mountain track....We forgot this (!) but luckily Gary was on hand to navigate us out of what was actually was a easy to find! There are direct walk ways straight out of the cottage that overlook the stunning Dorothea Quarry and slate trails. Would recommend 100% and will definately be back when the sun is shining!

  • Absolutely outstanding host, outstanding location, outstanding views, outstanding place to stay 11/10 would recommend and will definitely stay again

  • Idicillic and clean house in the heart of the countryside. This was a great place to stay and Gary was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Perfect location for dog walks around the local quarry and a stones throw away from several dog friendly beaches. We loved all the small touches during our visit, including the local welcome pack! The house itself is warm, cosy and full of all the amenities you would need. Thanks again for a fantastic weekend, we couldn’t be happier and we will for sure be coming back again in the future! Daryl, Zeneb and Winston

    Daryl2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at this wonderful little cottage for the weekend as a couple with the dog. The house is absolutely lovely. We've never been to this part of Wales and didn't do any research at all, but it ended up being amazing. The village is very small, a short 5 min drive there is a coop, and Indian takeaway and a Chinese takeaway. I recommend both (😂). The house is immaculate, was nice and toasty with the heating on. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly equipped. Gary is a perfect host, was really helpful explaining the local walks (from literally the back door), the house manual (sent on email) was really good with pub and grub reccomendations which was really helpful. The house itself is beautiful, and is the kind of place that you don't want to leave as it's so homely and so well decorated and equipped. This is a perfect place to go and take a slower pace and detangle your head. 10/10 from us, we hope to visit again

The small family home of Cefn Eithin provides two comfortable self catering holiday cottages. Stiwdio Eithinog is located next to the family home of Cefn Eithin. This listing is for the cottage of STIWDIO EITHINOG. It is perfect for a couple, or a single person to holiday throughout the year. It offers a wonderful home from home self catering holiday experience. The beautiful castle town of Caernarfon and the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park are within very easy reach of Cefn Eithin
Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded. Stiwdio Eithinog is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the new and comfortable kitchen / diner, off which you can access the main living and sleeping area. The living area has comfortable seats and a table, so it is a great space for relaxing, eating or watching the TV. The double bed is in the same room, although it's separated by a small step. Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the wooden goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good. The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey The cottage is available for week long, longer or shorter term bookings, depending on availability.
Eithin Bach is in a rural setting, surrounded by fields full of sheep and country lanes. The local village of Bethesda Bach has a nice bar / restaurant, but little else. Slightly further afield, the town of Bontnewydd has more facilities. The market and castle town of Caernarfon is less than 5 miles away, where you can get anything you need shopping wise and enjoy wonderful harbour and castle sight seeing.
  • Had a great stay at Stiwdio Eithinog. Andy and Helen took us in at short notice and were very helpful and friendly. The apartment has everything you need and has lots of great touches. The location is good too. Highly recommended !

  • What a lovely find. Andy was very happy with a non contact approach to your stay as the the studio is quite remote you can keep yourself to yourself and have as little or as much interaction as possible. The studio is lovely, well equipped and ideal for a nice stay. Lovely area. Welcoming host, understanding of the social distancing and non contact nature in these terrible times. Ideal for all local attractions. A real delight.

Dating from 1881, this charming 4 bedroomed family house was built as the School Master's house. It has been finished to a high standard and can easily sleep 8 either on an entire house basis, or room by room. Phone or email for options. Situated in the popular residential village of Bethel, conveniently located for the centres of Caernarfon and Bangor, the property is situated along the B4366 road on the cusp of the Snowdonia National Park and en route to the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
Ty'r Ysgol (translates to School House) is as the name suggests, a former School Master's house and offers a welcoming atmosphere. It is situated just 3 miles from the historic Castle town of Caernarfon, 5 miles from the University City of Bangor and right on the edge of Snowdonia which just has more and more to offer, not only its obvious beauty but more recently also has become an area for adventure including Surf Snowdonia surf centre, Bounce Below for trampolining, ZipWorld, Go Below, Greenwood Forest Park and many other attractions.
The house is located in a medium-sized village, with a small convenience store/post office for basic needs. The house is located on the main road in the village, but it is a quiet road and all windows are double-glazed which dampens the outside noise. There is a close, welcoming, community in the village.

You're assured a warm welcome to this beautiful cottage! Stunning location bordering Snowdonia (10 minute walk to Park Boundary). On a clear day Snowdon herself is in full view. Close to castles, Llyn Peninsula, much beautiful coastline, a stone's throw from Anglesey and more! Cosy single downstairs room for solo travellers, one of three rooms here, where I accommodate up to 5 people. N.B. downstairs bathroom! Be pampered, have a restorative break, explore this glorious area in North Wales!
Recently renovated, Llys Ifor has all modern comforts whilst retaining its welsh character. The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a cottage, and some features have been retained, like a small inglenook fireplace. I am an experienced host who loves having people to stay. My job here is to make people feel made welcome and comfortable. I am creating a wild life haven and pond here.
A rural area, full of outstanding beauty and with coast line, sea, hills, mountains, rivers and nature in abundance. The village is small and friendly, and has some bus services but they are limited, so planning is the order of the day!
  • Phenomenal and inspiring, the best Airbnb I've stayed in, and I'm not overstating anything. June is very kind and truly cares to make you feel welcome, rather than merely providing a room. Her cooking was great, and it's a great value in a great location near Snowdon and the coast.

  • June is a most interesting and conscientious host who does her best to make you feel at home. The cottage is beautifully and artistically restored Highly recommended

  • A recently renovated property, June has spent a lot of time energy and money to offer this high standard accomodation. I arranged to stay at late notice for one night and June accepted my stay. I stayed in a room with a single bed just off the kitchen...other rooms and a cottage with a hot tub is also available. Tv and wifi work well. The property is in a quiet village of Nebo great views , quiet and clean, approx 25min drive from Porthmadog and Llanberis. I was offered a evening meal but as id already eaten i declined. Continental Breakfast was fab, soda bread, yoghurt, local cake etc a nice change to a cooked breakfast. Ideal for walks, but a car is necessary, although the village has a local bus service. The underfloor heating is great for these cold nights, the only criticism i have is ladys wearing high heeled shoes on a marble/stone floor can be a little off putting...but didnt prevent me from sleeping.! Thank you June for letting me stay Mark

Enjoy the comfort of our mixed modern vintage house. around the house you'll find guitars and musical instruments, and house plants. Upstairs is completely carpeted and makes it very cosy. The room you will be staying in is right next to the bathroom, so you need not worry about disturbing us if you need to go in the night! Felinheli is a great central location, it is right by the beautiful national park of Snowdonia, a couple of miles from Caernarfon where I grew up, famous for its castle!
Our place is on the lovely Helen terrace. We live high up in the village of felinheli, an old port village. Standing outside , or on the decking across a small road, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the famous Menai strait. Our house is very homely, we haven't lived here long but have done our best to make our house as comfortable for you as possible.
  • Nice place, lovely location, very relaxed style.

  • William's place was an amazing experience. The house is adorable, and the room is nice and spacious, with an additional 'sun' room attached to it. The bed is comfortable, the accompanying kettle and hot drink tray was a wonderful addition for my early morning routine. Will and Ori were also really friendly and super helpful with giving suggestions for hiking options while completely respectful of my privacy. I would highly recommend this gorgeous space and I can't wait to hopefully visit again during the warmer season so I can really enjoy the gorgeous landscape surrounding this area.

    Khaldun2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A small comfortable room with beautiful views of the Menai Straights outside the front door. William and Ori made us very welcome and let us get on with our visit. We will be back.

  • Very nice apartment. Oriana was very kind and it was really nice to talk with her. We felt like we were at home. He let us use the kitchen without problems. And after a peaceful night from the moment we went out at dawn he made us find breakfast in the dining room. Consogliatissimo.

    Alessandro2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely stay here.. Great view of the Menai Strait, only 5-10 minutes to Caernarfon. Oriana was a great host, friendly, polite and helpful, even helping me with book suggestions! Bed was big and comfortable, house was perfectly clean.. definitely recommend this place. Diolch/Grazie!

A very unique cosy property converted from an old stone outbuilding. The cottage is on the bank of the Caseg river and surrounded by a quiet garden, providing an excellent retreat, while only 5 minutes walk from the amenities of the local village Bethesda. Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. A relaxing evening soak in the hot tub can be recommended.
The driveway leads to plenty of parking. A paved patio area with seating and BBQ / fire pit adjoins the garden with the river only 5m away. A storage shed for wet gear and equipment is next to the front door. Once inside, a compact kitchen comprises of a double hob, oven, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is seating around the table for four. The living and dining area then leads through to a double bedroom and separate wet shower room and toilet. The entire cottage has under floor heating. A large secluded hot tub can be enjoyed at the rear of the cottage next to the river.
The main house and cottage is set in a secluded, large, riverside garden. Bethesda town has many amenities - pubs, take aways, a small Tesco and Londis. It is possible to walk from the house almost without using any roads to complete leisurely local walks down to the river Ogwen, to Zip World (restaurant) or to access the Carneddi mountain range. Kayakers with experience can paddle from the garden down the Caseg river before joining the Ogwen, one of the best rivers for white water in Wales. More gentle water activities can be had on the lake at Llanberis and there are numerous wild swimming opportunities. We have a number of canoes and kayaks available to loan, but you do so at your own risk! Mountain bike trails are plentiful in the area, or quiet roads for those that prefer. Rock climbing and bouldering are easily accessed in the Ogwen or Llanberis Valley. For those that prefer, the beaches and surfing on Anglesey are only a 30 minute drive. North Wales has a wide range of tourist attractions for visitors of all ages, including castles, National Trust properties, Zip World, Bounce Below, Tree Tops, the Great Orme, Llanberis slate museum and Electric Mountain, The Greenwood Centre , Foel Farm and the Anglesey Sea Zoo all on our doorstep. Bangor, Caernarfon, Conwy and Llandudno all have great restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as theatres and cinemas.
  • Nick & Lesley are fantastic hosts with a truly special accommodation to offer. The space itself is fantastic but the surrounding garden and waterfalls are as beautiful as Wales gets. Very warm and cosy, perfect space for couples. We look forward to coming back in the summer.

    Joe2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place if you're looking to escape for the weekend. Hosts are very quick to respond and offer solutions to any questions/problems.

    Hannah2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, well-kept bungalow in a picturesque location. Easy to get to local amenities, and very easy to access walks in Snowdonia.

  • If you’re looking for a weekend getaway in a peaceful area filled with fantastic views of welsh mountains, this is the property for you! Myself and my partner had a fantastic stay here. It was about a 15 minute walk to the fastest zip line in the world and we fully recommend staying here if you intend to visit zip world! The views around the property were incredible. Having the waterfall run behind the cottage made the stay even more relaxing. After coming off the zip line and having an explore around the area we came back to the cottage for a dip in the hot tub! Which was an extra special treat! Nick and Lesley were so friendly and welcoming, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

    Ellie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Set with backdrop of Snowdonia hills and next to a little river. 5-10 min walk to local shops, cafes and pubs. Ideal for walks into Snowdonia, although due to the storms we didn't manage any. Hot tub was a best part! Clean, spacious and warm 😀 Already recommended to family and friends and we'll be back for sure.

    Elliott2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely location by the stream, a good base for relaxing after a hike up Snowden or an action packed day at Zipworld. Great communications and having a private hot tub, to soak all your aches away is a total bonus.

    Andy2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had the most amazing two nights here, this place is honestly so lovely - the pictures don't it justice!!! The little cottage has everything you need and more, the hot tub is such a nice extra and the area is beautiful with very impressive waterfalls and right on the edge of snowdonia. Couldn't have asked for anything better and we are already looking into dates when we can come back in the summer!!

This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles, beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.
The ground floor is open plan. The lounge/diner area has a satellite TV and WIFI, although it's not the fastest! The area is centrally heated in cold weather and there is a log effect heater for any chilly evenings. Off the lounge/diner is the secondary sleeping area, with purpose built settee converting to a 6'6'' long double bed. The kitchen has an electric range style cooker with grill and fan ovens along with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine etc. Upstairs is the bedroom with standard double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers etc. The bathroom is en-suite and has bath with shower over, basin/vanity mirror and toilet.
Nant Peris is a small village with a long history. It is much older than the nearby, larger village of Llanberis. We have no shop but we do have our Pub and 14th century church. For shopping,Restaurants etc a short drive or 25 minute walk gets you to Llanberis, which is also a centre for outward bound pursuits including climbing, canoeing, wild swimming, paddle boarding, triathlons and the list goes on... The Royal Town of Caernarfon with its World Heritage 13th century castle, Roman fort etc is easily accessible by bus or car and offers supermarkets and a larger range of shops, restaurants and so on. While here why not visit the REAL castle of Merlin the Magician, or a unique coastal hilltop stone age village-no entry fees !
  • A lovely place in a great location. Tom was an exceptional host. A great few days so thank you and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days.

    Hector2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Tom’s cottage. A lovely, well equipped little house with everything you might need - great to have a big kitchen with a nespresso machine etc! Cosy and warm. The location is unbeatable - 5 mins drive from both llanberis and the pen y pass car park. Beautiful views outside and a great traditional pub next door! Tom was lovely and very hospitable during our stay. Thank you!

    Liz2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Tom’s hospitality, warm welcome and attentiveness was a great addition to our amazing time staying in Nant Peris for our Snowdon climb. Highly recommend this accommodation with an added bonus of a good old traditional boozer next door having great pub grub.

    Steven2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, well kept. Tom is very knowledgable about the local area and is a superb host.

    Will2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very modern and much more spacious than we expected very quite location but that’s what we wanted very neutral to explore the natural Beaty of Snowdonia thanks Tom for being a great host

    Pamela2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We’d like to thank Tom so much for his hospitality during our stay in the cottage. We had a lovely time despite the weather being pretty awful, but it was a lovely break away. The cottage was pretty much what we had expected from reading the reviews and Tom couldn’t have been a better host. We really appreciated his quick responses to our messages and he was even kind enough to give us a lift into the village one evening to save on taxi fares. We weren’t able to get up Snowdon this time due to the weather but it is perfectly situated for it and we may be back in the summer! ☺️ There is WiFi however this can be a bit temperamental and slow, and with there being no signal, it’s perfect for anyone wanting to shut off the real world for a few days - although we did get signal just a few minutes drive away. There is a lovely little pub next door which do nice food and has a nice open fire! Overall we enjoyed our quiet break away and the cottage is nice and cosy. Would definitely recommend!

    Laura2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding hospitality and fabulous location. Tom lives right next door and is a wonderful host; there if you need him with speedy responses, but otherwise leaves you to it. Cottage is clean and homely with plenty of amenities. It's right next to a public footpath which trails being the property into beautiful views. Big supermarkets are about 20mins drive away, but there's a Spar in Llanberis which is 5 mins drive away. Thanks again Tom for a lovely stay!

This is a lovely twin room in a spacious house, on the outskirts of Tregarth village. Option of a 3rd mattress on the floor. The shared bathroom is close to the bedroom and the kitchen is available for tea and coffee, along with fridge space. Simple breakfast (cereal and toast) is available. The house is home to us, our son and our Jack Russel. Off road parking is available. Garden available for sunny evenings, or evening fires. Cycle track, cafe and a pub (no food) all within a 5 minute walk.
The spacious house is on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, and close to Zipworld, and other attractions. Anglesey is a short drive away. We are very close to the cycle track and a network of lovely footpaths. Pick up and drop off for the North Wales and Anglesey Coast path can be provided by prior arrangement. We have several walking, climbing, wild swimming and cycling guides and maps which you are welcome to borrow. We also have an acoustic guitar that you are welcome to use.
The area is very green, with trees and hills. There is a good bus service in to Bangor and the Ogwen Valley is a 5 minute drive away. The cycle track (Lon Las Ogwen) leads to Bangor in one direction and to Idwel Cottage (up the Ogwen valley) in the other. The area is a particularly good base for the attractions of Snowdonia and Anglesey, as well walking, climbing and water sports.
  • Would definitely stay again if that way, felt like a home from home.

  • I've had another pleasant stay with Ben and his family. I found everyone to be warm and welcoming as usual and I was even taught how to play backgammon! :)

    Chris2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • I've had another pleasant stay at Ben's. It works well for me whilst I'm working in Bangor for a few days a week. The room is quiet - both from internal and external noise - Ben and his family make me feel welcome, the place is clean and comfortable, and we've yet to have any bathroom clashes. This is my third stay at Ben's and I'm planning on returning again, that in itself tells you a lot about the place and the hosts.

    Chris2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay at Ben's house. As with the previous stay, everyone in the household was friendly and made me feel welcome. The hosts provided more local knowledge of places where I could eat, factoring in my restrictive dietary choices. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet. Overall this is a nice place to stay

    Chris2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed another night at Ben and Jude's. Great hospitality as usual. Had a good rest. Others should take the room without hesitation. I'm a European certified assessor of quality. This place is good.

    Russell2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I found Ben to be friendly, warm, and welcoming. Ben gave me some good tips on where to eat locally. The bedroom was spacious and comfy and at night it was dark and quiet which was conducive to a good night's sleep

    Chris2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Jude have a really nice place. Hospitality was excellent. The shower....oh the shower... if anyone needs a really nice shower, this is where you'll find it - in a massive bathroom! Everything at the house is in order. I'd stay again. If you're thinking of staying with Ben and Jude, stop thinking and start booking! (I have not been offered any incentives for giving this glowing feedback).

A quarry man's cottage at the foot of Snowdon. Fully refurbished in 2015 to provide excellent facilities for couples and young families. Snowdon is at the door and Rhyd Ddu provides good accessibility to a wide range of other activities.
  • A charming cottage, perfectly located to explore Snowdonia. Clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great value for money.

    Katie2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn’t have asked for a better location for this cottage. Especially if you are planning on climbing Snowdon via the Rhyd-Ddu path and the Snowdon Rangers path. The cottage is very nice and cosy and our dogs felt very much at home. The place is very clean, warm and tidy with all the necessary amenities. A place to wash and dry your wet walking gear and an outside garden if you are lucky enough with the weather. The village itself is quiet with a nice little pub within a stones throw of the cottage. There is also a forest nearby to get lost in if the mountain weather aren’t suitable for hiking. The host is very accommodating and communication is impeccable.

  • This cute little caravan was the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdon and surrounding areas. The shower was fantastic and the loo was so clean! Loved the fact there was a little fridge in the caravan and there were lots of touches to make life easy such as cloth, scooter trees towel etc to wash up. We used the sink at the side of the shower unit to wash up as it had running water but for a few items the bowl in the caravan sink is fine. We were warm and cosy despite the rainy weather. We will definitely be returning.

  • Very quirky little caravan. Perfect for what we needed! Very cosy space and a very clean toilet block too.

Welcomed by friendly hosts who ensured you had everything needed without invading privacy, which I found the perfect blend. • Top class vintage caravan kept in tip top shape. Pleasure to stay in and the hosts are lovely too.

    Aaron2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect. Such a cute, vintage caravan situated beautifully for us to stay after the Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdonia. The bathroom and shower were outside but so clean and lovely, hot water in the shower! The caravan even had all the amenities (heater, extra blankets, stove, little fridge, and a kettle ready to boil!). We will definitely be returning for any future Snowdonia travels!

Each day the beach changes with its birdlife and local seals you will find it hard to leave. At the sea front of the property , all you can see is open sea , looking to the right you can see the coast of Anglesey with its flashing lighthouses at Holyhead and to the left the beautiful Lynn Peninsula . Then behind the chalet there are views of Mount Snowdon and beyond. Its the perfect location with even more perfect views. The Beach house even attracts the famous! Recently staying here mike and Jules Peters from The welsh rock band The Alarm said ‘after traveling the world for years always looking to stay near the beach this is now their favourite place !’ Wow what a compliment even more so they booked to come back and Jules calls it her new ‘happy place ‘ .
'The Beach house' is just one of 4 houses in this prime sea front location. One of the two we own . The beach house and the beach escape can be hired together for up to 8 guests or separate . Both have their own private facilities balcony and decking areas . The only other 2 houses along this coast are private holiday homes not often used so usually empty . The only parking in this area is to each house . So as there is no common parking in the area we only see the odd walker from the small village or from West point park ( private holiday lodge owners) although this is closed in winter, so the beach and surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. Yet just a few miles either way on the main road you find Caernarfon and Pwllheli with a Tesco Morrisons and Asda The local village Penygroes is just 5 minutes away and has a co op supermarket and convenience store Along with a Chinese ,Indian ,kebab and chip shop
  • The beach house was as described. Perfect location at the beach, very comfortable, all clean and well prepared. We can recommend it to everybody looking for a calm and relaxing place. Victoria gave us all the information we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much and are looking forward to come back soon.

  • A fantastic place in a great location. This really is a hidden gem, very clean, very cosy and felt like a home away from home. Our host’s communication was great throughout. Will definitely be coming back again!

    Matthew2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Beach House where we stayed was absolutely lovely, you get a great warm feeling as soon as you open the front door. Storm Ciara was unfortunate Saturday daytime/night but that didn’t get us down about the weekend stay. It was lovely to have a visit from Joules ‘the cat’ too..she got spoilt with lots of fuss and treats. I will definitely be coming back again one day

    Jane2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful weekend we've had!! The location, property, cosiness, blew us away and we were so lucky to see blue sky and snow capped mountains. Having been ill for a few weeks it was the perfect place to recuperate and have some sea air. I will never forget being sat in front of the woodburner looking out to sea, feel like a new woman!! Thank you so much Victoria.

    Gill2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do the view justice. We loved spending new year here. Loved the log burner and the bed was really comfortable. Going to book again for later in the year. Highly recommended and Victoria is great to deal with. Thank you 👍

    Michael2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely gorgeous, you won’t be disappointed! *Right* on the water, and really very spacious. Lovely cat that pops in too. Thanks!

    Antonia2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place, SO close to the sea. Just as it looks in the photos. Quaint, simply equipped house which had all we need. Location makes this place an amazing place in the winter, we saw such stormy seas. Walks on the beach cleared the cob webs away. Warm and cosy with the log fire going in the evenings. Would love to return.

    Adrian2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Don't do what we did and book the place to sightsee around the area. Book the place and stay in it. It's perfect.

Small double bedroom which is light and airy with a very comfortable bed. There are 2 bedside shelves and a wardrobe with 3 drawers. I can provide you with a small desk & chair for laptop etc. if you require. There are also two more bedrooms available in this property, one single & one double.
Cartref is located in the rural village of Groeslon in a small very quiet cul-de-sac. All 3 guest rooms are newly redecorated, and new carpets fitted August 2019. Guests will have access to most of the property inside and out - it will be your home from home for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. There are also two more bedrooms available in this property, one single & one double.
There are so many places within easy reach from here either by car or bus routes. We are only a mile outside of the National Snowdonia Park. Caernarfon is only a few mins drive where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs etc. and of course the famous Caernarfon castle. Blue Flag awarded Dinas Dinlle beach is less than 10 mins drive, then you also have the choice of many gorgeous beaches on the Llyn Peninsula and many more on Anglesey. Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon where you can catch a train to the peak or walk is approx 20 mins drive as is Bangor, Porthmadog, Pwllheli & Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula. Nearest stop on the Welsh Highland Railway is only 3 mins drive or a lovely 30 mins leisurely walk along the Lôn Eifion footpath / cycle track which is a stone's throw away from here. Anglesey Sea World and the world famous Zip Ride and many other places are all within easy reach.
  • Very cozy house and convenient check-in. Everything was very clean and sparkling, kitchen had everything one might need. The only small downside is that the place can get very cold during the winter, make sure to bring a pair of slippers.

    Donatas2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house near Snowdonia National Park, Caernavon, and the Llyn Peninsula. I used this as a base to explore all of these areas, and it was quite central. I do recommend having a car if you stay here as food shopping, etc is in the next town about 2 miles away. There is a bus that stops at this town, if you are willing to bring your own food. The house is really like a "self-catering" style of AirBnB; Dafydd does not supply meals. Other travelers stay in the house; each bedroom has a key for security. Dafydd did check in daily to make sure all was well.

    Dolores2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • We came to go walking in Snowdonia and needed somewhere comfortable to stay. Dafydd and Anwen’s place was just that, providing a great place to rest after a long day’s walking. Dafydd and Anwen were great at communicating and replied to all of our queries very quickly. I’d definitely recommend their place and would stay again if I was in the area.

    Chris2019-11-03T00:00:00Z

  • This is the second time we have stayed at Tom's cottage. We love it, it is perfect for us. It is unique and quirky but with everything you need. The views are stunning when the weather is good. I would recommend this place to everyone.

  • Toms place was a great find. Quirky and spacious cottage. Perfect for our nights stay after climbing Snowdon. Great communication with Tom and easy instructions to self check in. Can’t fault anything. Will be back for sure.

    Edward2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful spot! The cottage is just perfect, and exceeded our expectations massively! Underfloor heating, a 6-foot long bath, heated mattresses, a welcome basket and card, open fires and sparkling clean characterful features - what more could you ever want? The perfect stay for us, and in the insane scenery of Snowdon where every view in every direction was breathtaking. Thanks so much Tom, and we will definitely be back soon! Couldn't rate it high enough!

  • We’ve just returned from 3 days away at buarth farm cottage and had a wonderful few days! The cottage is so lovely - really cosy, has everything you could need and the location is just perfect to completely switch off. Close to lots of things to do, but remote enough to feel cosy and secluded. Tom was extremely helpful when planning our trip too. We hope to be back again in 2020! Thank you!

    Emily2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great place ....loved the heated mattress

    Marjorie2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a truly delightful cottage in a lovely setting it is just such a shame we only had a weekend to enjoy it. The pictures of Tom’s place do not really do it justice ... the cottage is just fabulous, warm, inviting, clean and homely. The views are absolutely stunning! Would highly recommend staying, unfortunately a weekend is just not long enough.

  • A beautiful lodge which really feels like something different. It had the COMFIEST bed I have ever slept in. A beautiful fire to light up the room. Make sure you bring something to play DVDs with if you're planning for a movie night, as there is a great DVD selection. Thank you!

    Harriet2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Breathtaking location! Perfect for a long weekend.

    Angharad2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • You will never sleep in a more comfy bed. The cabin is a special little place tucked away in the woods and you feel extremely cosy and adventurous staying there. The hosts are great and super helpful/made some really thoughtful touches in the cabin. Highly recommended!

    Coco2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Had really high hopes and expectations and have to say the place was even better than I had hoped for, truly idyllic place to escape to and have some quality down time. Perfectly placed to get around and explore the local area and what it has to offer. Everything was exactly as described definitely recommend it.

    Mark2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Had a brilliant stay in this cosy little cabin. Private and secluded with trees all around, it is a beautiful place that made our trip to Snowdon even more special!

    Gavin2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at Serena's lodge cabin. The place is beautiful! Off the track, surrounded by trees, nature, and Snowdonia's beauty. The cabin itself was better than expected. It is spacious, super clean, and Serena cared about every single detail - she even put decorations, bords games, and DVDs for the guests. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can make some food before exploring Snowdonia or after the long way of walking around the Park. The fireplace was absolutely amazing, it was lovely to sit by it in the evening. The cabin is centrally heated and when we had some inquiries on changing the temperature or the time of the central heating operating, Serena immediately helped us with that. The communication with the Host was perfect. The cabin is located just a few minutes walk from the waterfall and it is a very good starting point for going to Snowdon. The experience was amazing, much better than staying in one of the cottages down in the village. If you need some privacy and love nature - I definitely recommend!

    Joanna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a fantastic time in this beautiful little cabin. It was so peaceful and the scenery was spectacular. Serena made life so easy thanks to her quick communication.

  • Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. Pictures do not do it justice. It is hard to imagine any better place to be after long cold walks. We enjoyed fireplace and reading available books.
