The place was exactly what I needed in Christchurch—clean and conveniently situated near the airport. The breakfast was a nice touch, too!

Just as previous guests wrote, outstanding hospitality, met at the front door at 1.30am in the morning by a friendly smiling face, the hubby in his wife's pink dressing gown!!. Don't know how anyone can be so welcoming at that time of the night, gold star to you !! Good ol kiwi hospitality. Set up well for travellers, ideal for a night stay close to the airport. Hint- taxi was half the price of the uber quote from the airport at that time.

Its really lovely place to stay

Lovely cottage, v close to airport but out in country and v pleasant. Sean was v helpful with suggestions for eating places (even late at night).

We found the accommodation lived up to the description in every way. We found it to be a most convenient location for visiting Christchurch and the area around and although not far from the main road it was very quiet.

Sean’ house is located in a huge garden and close to the airport. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.

It's close to the airport, and it takes about 7-8 minutes by car. For various reasons, it was already dark by then, and there was no way to admire their large garden. Although the house is a bit old, it is well maintained, the living room in the room is quite large, and it is quite comfortable to live in. Although they didn't use the kitchen in their house, they looked very complete. The towels are a bit old and need to be replaced. It's close to the airport and it takes about 7-8 minutes by car. For various reasons, we arrived very late, very pity we cannot visit the large garden. Although the house is a bit old, it is well maintained, the living room and bedroom is quite large, and it is comfortable to live in. The towels are a bit old and need to be replaced.

Sean was very easy to work with and we had no issues there. We definitely recommend this place as it was spacious and very nice. It was also close to the airport which was definitely nice.

They are a lovely young family who offered me an amazing stay - bed is so comfortable, you have your own bathroom and a TV, the kitchen is well equipped, ... Definitely a huge recommendation!

Cheryl’s place is the most comfortable and valuable stay throughout our trip in New Zealand. It is very clean, modern, well design and full furnished with all necessary amenities. Outside the house has a big garden and also a vegetables and fruits garden, really spacious. We love it so much and also took a lot of pictures of the house’s design for future reference of our own house design. Really hard to express the wonderful feelings of staying there. I definitely will choose Cheryl’s place if visit to Christchurch next time. Thank you!

We knew we’d have an early morning, so we chose to stay as close to the airport as we could. What a treat to drive up to Windemere, after a really long drive from Queenstown, to let the kids out for a run around the pleasant farm grounds. We were able to pack for the flight home and have a great night’s rest before our flight home. Great spot!

My stay at Linda's place is amazinggg!!! The room is very cozy and the electric blanket had kept me warm during chilly nights. Linda is super nice and helpful, she was very kind to let me use the kitchen and wash my car. I enjoyed my chats with her and her families a lot. The puppies are very cute too!! The neighborhood is very quite so I feel peaceful throughout my stay. :-)

Sharing Tarun’s family home was a delight! Great location near the airport and only 30 mins bus to the city centre.

We arrived very late after midnight and stayed one night in Taruns flat. He and his family were very friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend Taruns flat.

We had a wonderful stay at Sharon’s place. Amaze wee place. Everything you need and great location helps you dodge the busy chch traffic. Very grateful for Sharon’s hospitality. Bathroom and shower were amaze. Would stay again. 13/10

Sharon’s place was perfectly located as we had a very late arriving into Christchurch and it took heaps of stress off knowing we didn’t have a long drive. Beautiful accommodation and loved that she left the light on for us so we didn’t come home to a dark location!

This is a very quiet and cosy place. with everything you need to stay for a few days. very close to the airport as well (less than 10min)

It's a nice place with good privacy and with lots of plants. Sam is a great host who is polite and friendly. There is also a tree house if that's your thing. :-)

Rod is a very friendly host. It’s just a 10 min drive from the airport and you can reach it easily, even by bus. This Air Bnb was perfect for one night in Christchurch. It’s clean and the kitchen is well-equipped as well!

Uncle Rod, is very warm and welcoming, always with a big nice smile greeting us with love. The house is awesome and located conveniently near Hornby mall and other indian Japanese and Chinese eateries. I honestly felt sad saying good bye to uncle Rod, such was the attachment with him in just 3 days. Me and my wife had a pleasant stay here, we highly recommend this to all you travellers to choose this place without any doubts in mind. Machi and Roger are very friendly people, they make it a point to make you feel comfortable in their guest room. The room is so cosy and bright that you feel at home right away. Everything is very clean and functional. Big plus: a cosy bed and a very good breakfast (lots of choice of drinks and cereals). I highly recommend this accommodation.

Maurice’s home is in a great spot, very handy to Christchurch airport. We had no problem communicating with him, and he was there to greet us at the door. The bedroom was not large but perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. the en-suite was a good size, with a big shower and plenty of water pressure. The bed was comfortable, and the whole place was immaculately clean. We would stay again if the need arose.

Maurice is an unbelievably nice host, so accommodating and friendly!! The place was absolutely stunning — modern and spotless clean!! Bathroom was large and spacious.

We had a great stay at Vince’s! Vince was a great host and very helpful showing us around the kitchen. It was immaculately clean. My husband and I went on a run from Vince’s to the downtown area and arboretum which was really nice. This is perfect if you are flying into/out of Christchurch. We really appreciated the use of the kitchen so we could cook in.

I only stayed one night at Joy's, right after I arrived from Germany. Because I had issues with the flight, I arrived in the middle of the night, which was no problem at all for Joy. Great place next to the airport. We stayed there for a night and it was perfect (25min walk from the airport), the room and patio were great and we also enjoyed the kitchen. The bathroom is also convenient and toilets are outside the room but very close to it. We didn’t meet Peter but communication was great, and Lucia was there to welcome us. The location of the house, really close to the airport, it was great! We take a walk, but you could go by bus or taxi. The room was clean and comfortable. You can take a rest with a cup of tea or coffee. We definitely recommend this place to everyone :)

This is a cute little apartment in a safe little suburb close to the airport. Trevor was great they provided a small amount of groceries to make breakfast which makes all the difference when you have come off a late flight. The place was tidy, clean, and the bed was comfy. Trevor provided a cot and baby bath for our little one which was really great too.

A lovely little place in a quiet neighborhood about 10 min from the airport. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and a perfect size for our party of 3. Check in was a breeze and Trevor and Hazel are lovely. They had some breakfast items (bread, cereal, etc) which was much appreciated! Parking was easy, as there is plenty of street parking at the end of the road where the place is. Would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely private area, with all the comforts of home. Quiet neighbourhood. Not far from the city and airport, and there’s a big park for an early evening stroll a short walk from the house.

The property was of a good size in a quite and very safe area near to Christchurch Airport. Our host’s were welcoming and provided all of the information we needed. They also provided, tea. Coffee, milk, bread and cereal which lasted a few days. As well as some extra home from home comforts.

Very friendly little house right next to the airport. Ray and his wife are very nice, but only speak Chinese. However, we get to understand each other very easily. Clean house and very pleasant to live in!

It is a great pleasure to live in Rick’s house for more than one month. It’s a perfect place for living and studying. Rick and his wife are all very nice people who truly helped me a lot. It’s my first time of leaving home by my own and studying in a new country. They heard I am learning English in a language school so they always had little chats with me to improve my oral English. Furthermore, we went to beach together for hiking on holiday which was a really nice trip. On the last day before I moving to my new flat, we had dinner together in a restaurant and talked a lot. They are very nice family and I will miss them.

I highly recommend Rick's place. They are friendly, easygoing, and helpful. I could not ask for more!

Hoster share one of their individual and very comfortable house in their great home with full kitchen. The place is very convenient by drive, 5 minutes distance to shop. We enjoy a lot!

The house is very close to the airport and it is only a few minutes drive from the airport. Late in the night, the landlord and the couple are still waiting for us both are very nice, and we have prepared breakfast for us. The rooms are warm and the toilets are especially clean. I hope I can come back here next time~

Very close to the airport is very convenient. The hostess is very enthusiastic. The slight problem is that the bed is a mattress and it is easy to fall off when sleeping. Need to sleep a little more honestly.

Beijing’s eldest brother is very enthusiastic and tells us about Christchurch’s routes, attractions, and things in life. It’s very close to Christchurch Airport, with convenient transportation and high cost performance. The floor is a bit loud and I recommend everyone to stay.
