Yakobus and his son Yansen were great hosts and always helpful with every question! The apartment is very central but at the same time like a small wonderful oasis in the jungle. In addition, Yansen‘s wife is a fantastic cook! I am really happy to come back and enjoy the awesome tours with Yakobus :-) Highly recommend the stay!

I arrived early in the morning when I took the night bus, but it was very helpful because they accommodated early check-in and the bus stopped in front of the villa.Upon arrival, the barista owner helped me with a coffee brewed and helped me assemble my itinerary in Toraja, so I was able to go around smoothly. At night, they prepared a cold beer in the kinkin, so I enjoyed drinking and singing karaoke every night. There was a wood-burning sauna, and I was allowed to use it, but it was still unfamiliar with the smoke and the temperature did not increase, but I think I will understand the tricks after several attempts. To be honest, the accommodation had no hot water, there was no sink, and there was no mirror in the washroom, so it was difficult to shave, or the water splashed the toothpaste, so it was difficult to use.But in the future, the owner said he would fix it, so I want to expect it. In addition, if you are interested in the culture of Toraja, the owner has a strong sense of love, and has a wealth of knowledge about the culture of Toraja and knows the dates of the unique funeral ceremony in this region, so I would like you to enjoy your trip to Toraja from here.

The stay at Panorama Homestay was very good. Yakobus and his family are very friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was also good. The double bedroom has a nice bathroom, but the bathroom of the twin bedroom hasn't a propper sink. Thank you very much for the stay at your place.

An exceptional place! Read the description before coming, Yes roosters and dogs bark but not all the time and I am very sensitive I was not bothered, yes there is cold water in the shower and it is not so cold even very pleasant with the heat. The nights are pleasant, great temperature and even better if it rained the evening. But the best part is Meyske and his mom! Meyske was unfortunately not present and what a shame, her mom was our mom for 3 days! She was great, kind to the care! She cooks divinely well! A king's meal every day and great breakfast! Meyske even from afar was a real mother to us, we had trouble from the airport she found us and booked us a taxi then bus then a taxi at 5am to welcome us! Meyske's mom welcomed us generously!
