This is a private, renovated 100-year-old traditional house located by the sea and at the foot of the mountains in Nanaura, Echigo. The house is too simple to be called a traditional kominka, but it looks old and new. I hope you will remember this pleasant feeling as one of your travel memories. This is the Mase coast in Nishikan-ku, Niigata City (formerly Iwamuro Village). 25 minutes by car from Makari Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway and 35 minutes from Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange.The horizon of Echigo Nanaura stretches out below. A morning walk on a deserted beach. A hiking trail that feels like you're in the world of Ghibli. There are nearby cafes in the mountains, away from the crowds, and There is also an Italian restaurant where you can watch the sunset over the sea. You can also purchase a bento box from a famous restaurant in Iwamuro Onsen and relax. We are also planning agritourism so that you can cook and enjoy freshly harvested vegetables. Relax and be soothed by the scent of the sea and the sound of the waves, swim in the ocean, climb Mt. 130-year-old private house on Sado Island｜TOM

At our accommodation, guests can enjoy a traditional “Irori” (Japanese hearth) experience available from October to early April. The basic experience is free of charge, though some activities may require an additional fee depending on the contents. If you wish to participate, please contact us at least one week before your stay. Enjoy a relaxing and memorable moment around the warm fire, surrounded by the charm of a traditional Japanese home. Please note that the Irori can only be used when accompanied by the owner. For safety reasons, use of the Irori without supervision is strictly prohibited.

This is an old private house in the middle of Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, in the Shinho area of the Kunakun Plain. We renovated a 130-year-old house built in the Meiji era and opened it as an accommodation. A short walk from the inn, you can see the Kunonaka plains with rice fields and the dancing of the red egrets. The owner is a rice farmer, but he runs the Sado Nature School, which navigates the nature of Sado. You can also observe the clear starry sky of Sado while listening to the owner's commentary. Enjoy a relaxing time while enjoying the nature of Sado.

Sado/Komino's private ancient house [Den Shichiya]

About 3 minutes by car from Sado Kisen Ogi Port. 13 minutes on foot. This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Denshichiya is the original name of this house. The name of the inn is the same as the name of the house, which the neighbors are familiar with. This is an old private house built in Showa 3 (1928) in the Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings. It has a high atrium and is open. We have all the facilities you need to live comfortably.

The house is comfortable for two but can easily accommodate up to four guests.
