Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Saint James

We had a wonderful stay at Reeds View, located in a great spot to access local beaches and great restaurants. The terrace is the highlight of the property with brilliant sea views and it was simply lovely to spend an evening watching the sunset with a glass of wine listening to the local wildlife I would certainly recommend a rental car for the duration of your visit to enable you to enjoy the wider delights of Barbados.

Great host, communication was great, place looks exactly like the pictures. Easy check in as well.

Aimee and James were excellent hosts, James warmly greeted us on arrival, took time to have a chat and show us the amenities. The studio itself was spotlessly clean, bright and had everything that we needed. Parking was available and a relatively short walk away you can access excellent local restaurants and the public beach. Thank you very much for hosting.

Michelle was a great host, was happy and quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to and during the stay. Waking up to that view everyday was perfect, was hard to leave! Beautiful accommodation, we travelled around a lot and wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else, thanks Michelle……off to earn the money to return!!

Our favourite out of 5 accomodations around the island. Immaculate and high standard furnishings. Pool superb. Helpful neighbours who live there for 6 months of the year.

Sebastian was an excellent host responding quickly to any questions and always keen to make sure we were fully catered for before, during and at departure. The apartment was tasteful, comfortable and peaceful. There was everything you needed including a well equipped and well laid out kitchen. It was ideally located for all amenities such as restaurants, shops and beaches. Having access to the facilities at the nearby Beach Club was a real bonus. We had a car but with or without one it would be easy to walk to many places and there were regular local buses available. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Lovely apartment in great location. Lovely garden area and great pool. Easily walkable to beach and local bars and restaurants. Camille was very responsive and made the whole process very easy.

Fabulous ground floor apartment. Great location - the beach was only a few steps away. Large pool which wasn’t busy. Felt very secure. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Hometown was only a short drive away. Had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend

Porters Place is a beautiful development. The villa was lovely just as the photos had shown and very well equipped. The location was perfect - a five minute walk to La Baguette bakery for yummy breakfasts, 10 minute walk to the beach, easy access to the supermarket and restaurants, and we loved being able to pick lettuce from the garden for our meals in. A lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The only negative we encountered was the main bedroom bathroom door that jammed leaving me stuck in the bathroom and the shower drain going on a go slow towards the end of our holiday. Andrew acknowledged the issues and they were to be addressed after we left. All in all a great holiday villa - to be recommended

Had a fabulous stay. Everything was so comfortable and clean. We appreciated the provisions in the kitchen. Your back garden was a paradise, which we enjoyed every day. Stephanie was an excellent manager and responded to a complaint very quickly and the issue was solved. She was friendly and immediately available. Ann, the cleaner, was very friendly and personable and left us spotless. Holetown was a perfect place to stay as so much could be accessed in a 5-10 minute walk. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

_The villa is conveniently situated in the northern part of the island, featuring 24-hour security, shuttle ride or free parking by the beach, free towels and chairs, big community pool and other amenities. Our group of eight, including four children, had an excellent time despite challenging weather conditions. The management team was proactive, placing sandbags and providing extra flashlights to cope with Hurricane Beryl. They were always just a text or call away, assisting with pool timer adjustments, sending technicians for minor repairs, and rearranging cleaning schedules due to the hurricane. Moreover, we had no issues with the internet, kitchen appliances & utensils, towels, or insects which we have faced with other rentals in the past. Finally one area for improvement is mosquito control; while they provided measures for protection, the mosquitoes were many and persistent. We would recommend to include some repellent sprays to prevent exposure. Overall, it was a pleasant experi

In the heart of a local neighbourhood, we felt very welcome and very comfortable. Having Air con in both bedrooms and the living area was perfect given our long stay and Working remotely. The interior pictures don't do it justice - it's very airy and has everything you need. Very close to a great beach which has a number of beach bars and restuarants. The the bus stops at the end of the road take you everywhere. We loved our time in Barbados and would definitely want to return. We were married in late January in Holetown and all our neighbours were a delight, helping us and often driving us to where we needed to be. Wonderful top floor villa. Wonderful location. Very lucky to have found it.

The place was beautiful and walkable to the grocery store and beaches. Every amenity was in the house and we were more than satisfied. One of our party did note that being right on the main road the traffic noise was an issue and limited our enjoyment of using the balconies and the patio area. We spent most of our time seeing Barbados so did not notice it as much.

Vicky's place was a perfect getaway. There were 9 of us total and everyone had space to spread out, sleep comfortably and each bedroom even had its own bathroom! The outside grounds were amazing and peaceful. We spent the majority of our time lounging on the enormous covered patio, sunbathing in one of the many lounge chairs by the fabulous pool or watching the stars at night. The house is private, well maintained and safe. You are close to 2 supermarkets, multiple beaches and it was easy to come and go. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals. Vicky was extremely responsive and sent us suggestions and checked in with us to see if we needed any help. I hope that I have the opportunity to visit Barbados again and if we do, I will be sure to see if Vicky's house is available.

This house was perfect. It is even more beautiful than I. The pictures and was a perfect and quiet location for our group to enjoy the beautiful beaches and restaurants in St James without being too far from Crop Over activities. Communication with the host was also seamless, as was check in and check out. We would absolutely stay here again!

Just had a great 2 weeks here, location could not of been better, super place to relax, safe and secure and everything is only a stones throw away to walk to. Accommodation was superb, Tim and Heather so helpful always able to assist/arrange or suggest visits etc. Loverly place to relax day or night, pool great to cool down in and loads of chairs and beds to chill out on. The covered dining area outside was fantastic to eat in and sit and talk. Kitchen and lounge also great loads of room throughout the villa. Safe off road parking too all behind gates. We’ve just had a fantastic 2 weeks in Holetown and will definitely revisit again in the near future. Thank you to Tim and Heather for everything you have done. Home from home, your home is beautiful.

I really loved staying at this peaceful, relaxing apartment with a lovely view and great amenities. The location is perfect, close to beaches, in lovely Holetown, where everything is walkable. Chantelle and her crew are super responsive hosts. I'd love to return!

Amazing host! Shawn went out of his way to accommodate. Our kids got a sunburn and when I asked him where we could get Aloe Vera, he personally delivered 3 fresh plant leaves that very day to the house! What a life saver! His place was amazing and modern, beds super comfortable, using the kitchen was amazing, from induction cook stove to having all the spices and even vinegar to make pickles! High attention tot detail. The pool was amazing and private, and the gated community was an extra fine touch even though. Arbados you already feel safe. We like there was only a short 3-4minute walk to the beach (right near Lonestar restaurant and Jumas). The kids loved the beach bar/restaurant serving grilled chicken and fish, with a vibrant entertaining owner who even gave the kids free lemonade! If you are a coffee lover, the closest latte/expresso was lonestar, opening at 8:30am… (better coffee than Jumas). Lonestar was a 3-4 minute walk and directly on the beach and amazing.

A great apartment in an excellent and quiet location. Well equipped and clean and tidy. Very handy having a bus stop at the end of the road to head into Holetown or Speightstown where there are good supermarkets, beaches and places to eat. We all loved nearby Thunder Bay with its chilled vibe, live music and tasty food. Tina, the local contact, was very helpful giving updates on maintenance to the water supply and checking all was ok. Vanessa was also responsive and gave very useful information on the local area. We had a great stay, thank you 😊

We stayed at Steven’s apartment for 10 days and had an amazing holiday (2 couples). The apartment was wonderful and just as described and there were lots of additional touches that were really thoughtful such as the Cool box and ice blocks and a couple of snorkels. The Sugar Hill complex was beautiful and peaceful. The pools were a lovely temperature (lit at night and open until 9pm) and grounds very well kept. We had a couple of lovely lunches at The Deck (Shrimp Pad Thai excellent!) and the rum punch during happy hour very good. We utilised the Fairmont beach club membership particularly to go and watch the sunsets but also travelled around the Island - which always felt friendly and safe. Kavell was super responsive when we had any questions. I had to do some work whilst out here so had to use the table on the balcony (only minor point was that there wasn’t an electric socket close by). It is an approx 20 min walk down the hill (via Store house Road) to the beach club.

Lovely apartment. Has everything you need. Alana is a wonderful host. She is quick to respond if you have any questions and is proactive with information. The staff on site are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location! Can walk everywhere in Holetown. Steps from the beach. If you go to the right on the beach, there is a shaded area just past Sandpiper. It's a great spot to spend the day on the beach. Sunsets are spectacular, so make sure to head down to the beach around 6:00. There is lots of choice for food, whether you eat in or go out. The big grocery store (Massey's) is a 10-15 minute walk and has everything you may need. There are many restaurants nearby and wonderful take-out spots minutes away. In particular, Angie's who has now opened a restaurant 5 minutes up the road called 'Coastal Cravings'. She makes great Bajan food at a great price. Also, Tyrel down the street at the white tent has great BBQ. All in all, a great place to stay.

Sarah's home is a GEM, simply beautiful, amazing, relaxing & superbly located in a private & peaceful area. It felt much bigger than the photos described, we felt very at home, lots of space/ bathrooms. Super comfy beds, linen & towels pristine & plentiful. The balcony was huge it has stunning views which were breathtaking, so relaxing. We were able to see the pool from our balcony which is handy to check-in on my youngest who couldn't get enough. The pool was spotless & cleaned regular. Gibbes beach was very close less than 10mins walk, Mullins extra 10min & lots of places to eat CCs etc. We visited Speightsown, Oistins, Bridgetown & Holetown mostly by bus, the yellow one. it was fab. Took the Blue bus to Bridgetown & has WiFi (blue bus is Government) have exact money drivers do not handle cash, fare is placed directly in pay box (no change given) Big supermarket in Holetown has everything. Collis was fantastic aswell as Marcia. We look forward to returning Thank you Sarah Jacinta

Andre’s place is a delightful, modern and upscale unit. Although compact, our party of four was quite comfortable. The most outstanding feature is the spacious veranda with its direct view of the sea. Great location within a short walk of 3 beaches. Was a bit difficult to find on our arrival. Would have helped to have clearer directions. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would return if the opportunity presents itself.

What a perfect little place, just off the most amazing beach. All you will need. As others have said, it is a little tired in places, but just ads to the charm. Bed was comfortable, AC worked well and the shower was good. Location was perfect for beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. How much more do you want? Also the live entertainment from next door can be a little noisy in the evening, but want an issue for us. If you like quiet at night take ear plugs for an early night, It finishes at 10 anyway. We will be booking it again next year. We have never returned to a place before, so can’t say more than that.
