I cannot recommend Château de la Fare more highly. We came for a restful escape and that’s exactly what we got. Janet and Phillip have thought of everything, and the details really take your stay to the level of a 5 star hotel. Our suite was absolutely enormous, and we were lucky enough to get a tour of the rest of the Château on our check in day as we were the first guests to arrive. Our bed was huge and so comfortable! The gardens are stunning. We honestly barely left the estate, because we were so content to be there. We stayed for 3 nights and next time will stay for longer. What a special place, thank you Janet and Phillip!

I was amazed by the rehabilitation work that was done. The decoration is also neat and very personal. I was greeted by charming and caring hosts. I was able to recharge my batteries the way I wanted to. Thanks again.
