We were delighted to stay at Melanie's place. The apartment is warm, very well maintained, and tastefully decorated — you immediately feel comfortable there. The surrounding setting is also very pleasant: the nearby old washhouse adds an authentic charm, and the many walking trails nearby are perfect for enjoying nature, especially with the dogs who enjoyed themselves. A real little slice of tranquility where you enjoy relaxing. Thanks again Melanie for this quality welcome!

The stay in Tiffany's house was even better than all my expectations, me who often forgot a few things I was able to find everything I was missing ( salt, freezer bag, bandage etc. ) the house was spotless in terms of cleaning, the children loved the games room, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, I think I bought the same mattresses for my home. The kids even received a little attention to them 🤩 Everything was really perfect. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a great time at Andrea's house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable to stay in. Andrea's explanations allow for a simple and self check-in. We had a pleasant time. I recommend it.

Clean and true to photos. Welcoming and friendly host. Only one slight negative, the fact of having to bring our towels and toilet paper. Otherwise everything was perfect, the accommodation is quiet and in the middle of nature, and the host is flexible on arrival and departure times.

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We stayed for a month and had an incredible time. A Beautiful countryside that is easy to explore on foot and bike. House is great and lots of cooking kit.

Muriel is a very friendly person. The accommodation is very nice, spacious and quiet. The ability to park the vehicle in the enclosure was very much appreciated. Really, would definitely stay again.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, wonderful accommodations

A very nice, functional and quiet place. A responsive, very nice and accommodating host. The big plus for me, dogs are allowed and the owners love pets! My daughters and I loved our stay class.

superb accommodation, lots of charm (hardwood floors, beams, fireplace...). kitchen very well equipped with dishes and utensils. there is even an economat, dishwasher tablets.... same in the bathroom: shower gel, laundry detergent... the 4 bedrooms are huge. lots of space and games for kids, whether inside or out. the garden is splendid!! we'll come back to enjoy it without the rain!!

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the place so much. The grounds and garden are amazing, spent a lot of time in the river with the dogs. The apartment had everything you need. Sheena and her husband so kind and friendly. Hope to be back again.

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.

Nicole is a great host. Friendly and warm, we had a very pleasant second stay at her property. The apartment is as described. We recommend it.

Amandine's house is in a very good location, allowing you to get around Cognac on foot. It's very easy to park on the street, right at the house. The environment is quiet, no noise. The house is well decorated and comfortable. Both bedrooms are large. The house is well-equipped. The electronic key system with app is very easy to use. Amandine was welcoming and very responsive to our few questions.
