西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

In addition to burning charcoal in the fireplace and enjoying the burning fire, you can enjoy the following as fireplace dishes. (We prepare 1 box of charcoal. 江戸時代に建てられた豪農邸宅をリノベーションした「あすかのまほろば」。 その離れの建物が「まほろの宿」として甦りました。 古い趣を残しつつ吉野の杉と檜を使用して、ゆったりくつろげるようにリノベーションしました。 一日一組限定の一棟貸切宿。誰にも気兼ねなく過ごせます。 パートナーと、ご家族と、グループで！もちろんおひとりさまも大歓迎。 庭の奥にある専用玄関を備えた独立した平屋の一軒家の宿です。 ヤマトタケルが美しさを讃えた「飛鳥」地域の中心地・明日香村川原にあります。 近隣には、日本初の写経が行われた「川原寺跡弘福寺」、聖徳太子生誕の地「橘寺」、明日香村や大和三山を一望できる「甘樫丘」など見所いっぱい。 「まほろ」とは、ヤマトタケルが詠った言葉で「素晴らしい場所」「住みやすい場所」を表す日本の古語です。まほろの宿で、ゆったりとした時の流れをお楽しみください。 「あすかのまほろば」の母屋は、レンタルスペースを営業中で新たなテナントも募集中。 母屋の土間や庭は利用者全員の共用スペースです。

There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
