Monthly Rentals in Sampford Courtenay

We had a lovely stay at the Annex and would thoroughly recommend. The Annex is spacious, clean, well equipped and very private. Judith was so friendly and welcoming. She baked us some homemade bread which was amazing and knew we were coming with our dog so left some treats, a dog bed and a water bowl out for us which was such a nice touch. The Annex itself is located just outside of Okehampton and has all the shops etc. you need and we had some wonderful long walks in Dartmoor national park. The only downside was it was too hot to use the log burner so we’ll definitely be back during the colder months!

Had a wonderful couple of nights at Lucinda’s cottage. It was a perfect base to explore Dartmoor and we had such a lovely weekend…we had everything we needed for our stay and Lucinda was a great host, thank you for the lovely selection of treats on arrival, we will definitely stay again.

Superb place for a quiet getaway. Although it’s an annex at the end of the house grounds, you feel so secluded. The property was very clean with peaceful surroundings.

Gavin’s property is truly a rare find. The photos don’t do it justice it’s absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location. I enjoyed myself so much that I ended up staying an extra night! Gavin was incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout. I especially loved the bookshelf I even ended up reading one of the books from his collection, which made the stay feel even more special. Honestly, I’d rate this a 10/10 and would absolutely love to return!
