Definitely an excellent accommodation, very well located, quiet and above all very nice.

It’s a beautiful Airbnb about 14 mins from centro oaxaca city. I would recommend booking this if you have a few days and are not in any hurry. It’s about 150 pesos going back and forth from the city so if you do about 2-3 trips in a day, you should think about that. The accommodation is really beautiful - I enjoyed it as our induction into Oaxaca before we moved to our hotel in jalatlaco. I would definitely come back here. Just know that the bed is a full bed, not a Queen so it could be a little small depending on how cuddly the couple is at night (we are definitely not so we struggled a bit)

We loved staying with Luz and Manuel. We stayed for a month while working remotely and they welcomed us with open arms. I joined their dog walks in the mornings and we got to know them very well. The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. There are markets to buy fresh cheese, meat, and vegetables all within walking distance. Taking the bus into town was very easy. We sought out a place near the mountains so that my husband could mountain bike easily and this was perfect. We also wanted to feel like we were within the local community, not in a separate neighborhood where there are only other gringos. We’ve had a great stay at Fernanda’s house as it is very spacious, quiet and with beautiful surroundings. I hope to be back very soon!
