My Mother turned 70 & just wanted a Weekend Getaway with her Daughters & Granddaughters! It was just that! A Beautiful, Private & Peaceful Girls Getaway! We were even blessed by a Family of Dolphins that made an appearance & gave us a wonderful Show! Everything was Perfect!

Cilia's home is located in a quiet area which makes it ideal for having a restful evening after a busy day. She went above and beyond to accommodate me, and even allowed me to stay a bit past check out due to my flight being rescheduled to a later time. The area is low key, which worked perfectly for me because i work overnights so it was very peaceful while I was on my shift. Most things are within relatively close proximity if you don't mind walking a bit. I highly recommend staying here, and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be doing so myself.

This was my second stay with Sherry, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, Sherry made me feel completely at home with her warm, accommodating nature. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable, and her hospitality is unmatched. The house itself is consistently spotless—clean, tidy, and well-maintained. It’s clear Sherry takes great pride in keeping everything in top shape. Whether you’re looking for a long-term stay or just a short visit, this place offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Lovely condo, back from the street, so relatively quiet. Clear instructions, roomy. The place was much better decorated than other AirBnBs, with vintage Santa Cruz photos and lovely Santa Cruz art posters. We’ll definitely come back.

We stayed here for my dad’s 60th birthday and it was the best time!! It was the perfect location, beautiful, clean, and had great amenities! We are already planning another trip to go back!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at Bob's place. The well-supplied kitchen allowed us to cook our Thanksgiving meal without problems. We enjoyed the deck for the ocean view, comfy chairs, and stargazing at night. The beds are very comfy and well-supplied with blankets and comforters for the cool nights. The laundry room had no detergent, so be sure to take some with you. Otherwise, we had all the supplies we needed for our stay. Would love to return.

Can’t beat this location right on the beach. What a beautiful spot and cozy to hang out in with the wood stove. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and we were comfortable with the kids sharing a room (we brought blowup mattresses) so the adults could hang out in the living room at night. I would definitely recommend for folks looking to stay right on the beach.

The house is beautiful and full of character. The location was perfect. We had the most amazing time and were very sad to leave. Host was super helpful and responsive. The beach is quiet and the scenery stunning. Instructions for everything were very clear and queries answered straight away. We loved every minute and would definitely recommend. Would love to come back one day. We have some amazing memories of our holiday to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday. Thank you.

Our stay was nothing short of magical! This beachside condo is a hidden gem located in the center of the Monterey Bay. It is the most serene and peaceful property lined with walking paths, steps from beautiful pickle ball courts (which you cannot hear from the condo), and endless miles of sandy beach to walk along. You can watch the amazing sunsets directly from the living room while enjoying a gas fireplace, and fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves. The king bed is extremely comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal, in addition to a great coffee maker. It was easy to check in, and Annette was very helpful, informative, and friendly. Between Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur, you could spend weeks exploring the area and not get bored. Not to mention the local cuisine is spectacular! We've lived in VT, Chicago, NC and the US Virgin Islands, but the Monterey Bay has stolen our hearts! We will be be back and hope to visit this condo again!

We are frequent users of Alex’s place and couldn’t imagine a better location at which to stay. Alex is kind, hospitable, and goes out of his way to anticipate our needs. Super host and valued place to stay.

Exactly what we needed. Able to fit our family and have privacy in bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need. Would be good to consider leaving one drawer or cabinet empty for guests to store pantry goods. The entire space -indoor and outdoor are furnished well. Plenty of seating for everyone. Ocean views are mostly partial. Can see the ocean from downstairs deck and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. The grounds around the whole resort are very well cared for. A short walk to get to the sand. Just know this property and the resort grounds each have lots of stairs if this is an issue for you. Beautiful, peaceful resort. Removed from any store by a few miles.

I had a wonderful stay at Michelle’s place! The room was cozy, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood was peaceful, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Michelle was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. And of course, the best part—Henry! Such a sweet and friendly cat. If you’re looking for a comfortable and serene stay with a kind host (and an adorable feline companion), this is the perfect spot.

This is an awesome place to stay!! Literally less than 5 mins to walk to heart of Capitola wharf, surfing & restaurants, yet quietly tucked away on the river. They had a canoe and launch site right there at the house, plus we brought kayaks & surf boards. Beautiful, shady, quiet area to canoe/kayak that feels very private, as no public access on river. House fit the 6 of us well. All beds and furniture a bit worn, but super comfortable!! Kitchen has what you need to cook and eat with, but no supplies of spices, etc…You have to provide all, but if you forget, like us, Safeway, Nob Hill, even local liquor store had milk/creamer, condiments, etc…had it all & very close. Car port only fit a smaller car & rest of us used the local lot that was a 5 min walk away if you take the back streets, but you do have to pay daily for that lot. Overall, great trip and great house, the privacy feel yet literally just around the corner from the heart of town was such a blessing for our family get away!

Great stay just minutes from the beach! We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, both a large patio adjacent to the kitchen and great sunsets from the roof deck. Slept 5 fairly comfortably - one couple in the king bed, two singles in the two twins, and a (willing) friend on the pull-out couch.

This was my second trip to this beautiful property. I have only good words for the hosts. starting from the booking till the checkout. I can't wait to go through the "Cheshire Rio Oceanotherapy" again . Highly recommend!
