For the past 2 years, I have been teaching my granny's empanada recipe and it has been a great pleasure. Now Airbnb gives me the opportunity to do the class online, being able to take this family recipe anywhere in the world. To start, I will send you the list of ingredients. We begin our tour walking to the San Cristobal hill, trek to the top and enjoy one of the best views of Santiago. First we will visit La Vega, the largest food market in Santiago, where anyone can purchase delicious food if they feel inclined. Then we will go through La Vega Chica and Tirso Molina until we reach the Central Market, now transformed into a place specializing in the sale of seafood and local Chilean food. Next to the market, there is a place where you can also taste the famous Empanada de Pino.
