We enjoyed the house very much. It is ideal for family reunions. You have enough space to sit together at the large table and the property is large enough to be for yourself. We were there with a dog, so we always had to leave the accommodation by car. But we knew that before. Otherwise, you can hike directly from the house. From the accommodation, you can quickly reach the beach and Haarlem and Zandfoort.

I highly recommend staying at this property! The apartment was not only immaculately clean, but also lovingly decorated – just like in the photos, if not even more beautiful. Irma was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt at home from the first moment. The location was perfect – quiet but still central, with everything you need in the immediate vicinity. We particularly appreciated the free bikes, which are perfect for a bike ride. But also the train, which was a 3-minute walk away, was an absolute plus. You can get to Amsterdam in under 30 minutes by train. We would come back anytime – a real oasis of well-being. Thank you for the great time!

My boyfriend, our four-legged friend and I stayed at Berrie's house for less than 5 days. It is a very nice little cottage with a mostly paved garden. The sun shines really nicely on the sitting area in the garden and invites you to linger. The living room is brighter and friendlier than it looks in the photos:) The beach can be reached in about an hour on foot.. by car it only takes less than 20 minutes. The public connection to Amsterdam includes a 15-minute walk to the train station and about 40 minutes by train, which takes you directly to the main train station. So if you are looking for a quiet beautiful area between Amsterdam and the beach, this is the place to be:) We highly recommend Berrie's house!
