The spacious bright living room can be reached up the stairs and is nicely decorated. The B&B is within walking distance of the shops, coffee shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, cinema, theater, courtyards. The beach of Bloemendaal -Zandvoort is 30 minutes by bike. This Commies house (customs office/former BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office ) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min.) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.
