Monthly Rentals in Schinopi

Amazing. But not for the non-adventurous. We loved the walk along the sand and rocks, over the steps and boards to the very last boat house. We loved the 30 minute walk up the hill on the road or up the stairs. We loved the sound of the waves all night, our two cats, Feta and PepR, and the quietness and star filled sky. We appreciated the hospitality of the whole family, the history of the location, and the generosity of the Milos people. But again, if you want ease and a resort, look elsewhere. This is a raw gem.

A truly delightful place, peaceful and secluded in a great location with fantastic views. Hosts are super helpful and the place itself is superbly designed and stylish. Terrace is ideal and west facing for beautiful sunsets and watching the passing boats. Skinopi is very quiet as the access road is steep and bumpy, but a worthwhile adventure.

My friend and I stayed at Christina’s Beachhouse for a week and it was such an unbelievable experience. The location is literally paradise. Christina is such a great host. Met us on site to walk us through the space. Gave us recommendations of things to do on the island. It’s the best beach in Milos for laying in the sun and swimming as the alcove keeps the water calm. We also fell in love with the stray cats. They will gladly accept water and cat food should you feel so inclined. Thanks Christina!

For my family, it turned out to be a house that gave us a magical atmosphere. Quite, off the beaten path, almost isolated but just a few kilometers from "cult" places. Books and music in full harmony with us were available. Top
