Surrounded by rolling vineyards, charming villages and the majestic backdrop of the Black Forest, Villa Werner is an idyllic holiday guest house that offers a unique combination of peace, pleasure and relaxation. In the heart of the sun-drenched Markgräflerland region, you will find a unique location with sweeping views across the Rhine Valley to the Vosges mountains. The sunsets are a particularly spectacular natural phenomenon. The lovingly renovated house has five bright, simple bedrooms on two floors (basement and first floor) – with comfortable beds, storage space and plenty of natural light. Ideal for families, groups or friends travelling together who still appreciate space to retreat to. Please note: Due to the original construction, the house is somewhat noisy. We have therefore created cosy, partly covered seating areas in the garden and courtyard (see gazebo) – perfect for relaxing, reading or eating outdoors. The surroundings – pure nature, enjoyment & adventure The Black Forest begins right on your doorstep with its countless hiking trails, panoramic paths and quiet walks – ideal for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. Within a radius of 50 km, there are over 30 Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as numerous charming country inns serving regional cuisine, such as the traditional Gasthof Ochsen in Feldberg – just 5 minutes away by car. A lovingly run farm shop is just a few minutes' walk away, selling fresh eggs, bread, vegetables and everything you need for a delicious start to the day. The nearest supermarkets are in Schliengen or Müllheim (approx. 10 minutes' drive). There is also plenty of variety and family adventure on offer: thermal baths in Badenweiler, Bad Bellingen, Bad Krozingen and the Bad Laguna family adventure park near Weil am Rhein. Our house with garden is quietly located in the old town centre of Kandern. It is divided into two apartments (64 & 52 sqm), which are accessible by an internal staircase. The furnishings are kept in a pleasant style. In 5 minutes' walking distance you can reach the centre with cinema, shopping, restaurants and ice cream parlour, but also the swimming pool and hiking trails. The proximity to Switzerland, France & the Black Forest offers many opportunities for great experiences; relaxation is guaranteed here.

Very spacious apartment in the idyllic Eggenertal between orchards and vineyards. Particularly quiet on the outskirts of town in a quasi-secluded location with its own large garden, secluded with absolute privacy. Herbs as well as fruit and vegetables are available for self-service depending on the season, organically grown. The house is operated as a +Energy building with rainwater supply. The apartment is designed as an open loft with kitchen, living room and bedroom. The private bathroom is separate.

Our kitchen is fully equipped. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a guest toilet. The washing machine is in the basement. The parking lot is at the house, in the carport there is space for bicycles. A barbecue and fire bowl are provided. Excursions include: Black Forest, Basel, Colmar, Europapark Rust

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

A Senseo coffee maker and a Sodastream (for making sparkling water), are available. In the converted attic there is a hammock and a chaise longue to relax.

Neuchâtel am Rhein is centrally located in the tri-border area of Germany-Frankreich-Schweiz. Freiburg im Breisgau is about 30 km away, France only a few minutes away and Switzerland about 40 km. The highway exit is directly in Neuchâtel and ensures a quick journey. The city is quiet and cozy, but there are restaurants, walks on the Rhine and small activities on site, so you can also do a lot in Neuchâtel.
