The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

You are away from the hustle and bustle, but still quickly in the village to get fresh rolls, etc. Great starting point for smaller hikes and about 5 minutes from the Alpsee. In winter when there is snow, you cannot drive to the hut. Then you have to walk about 10 minutes. Luggage transport is possible by arrangement. Heating is with wood, in the bathroom there is a small electric fan heater.

A region that in 2021 was the only region in Austria to be named "Best Tourism Villages by UNWTO" by the UN World Tourism Organization. The award was given to communities that particularly preserve their natural and cultural values, are committed to ecological, social and economic sustainability in the development of tourism, and do all this in harmony with the local population.

Authentic wooden house

The house was built in 1928 by my great-grandparents. As a professor at the Academy of Arts, he went to the house with students to devote himself intensively to art. Much of the furniture dates from this period and reflects authenticity. It is a wonderful hut with a lot of atmosphere and not a modern chalet. The house is made entirely of wood. There you can experience the feeling of "back to the roots" to the fullest and come to peace.
