Waterfront vacation rentals in Selsey

We had a wonderful week, the flat was pristine, comfortable and peaceful. Just what we needed! Beth and Scott were great hosts, responding quickly to any questions we had. Ryde is a great base for exploring the island, and the flat is an easy walk to the town centre and restaurants etc.

Highly recommended host and location. This Airbnb is a hidden gem, surrounded by beaches and wildlife, and is probably about as 'remote' as you can get on the island. It's close enough to amenities that it isn't a hassle to get supplies, but far enough away that it's quiet. The AirBNB itself is excellent, with everything you'd need for a great holiday. We stayed a week but could easily have stayed longer. When we visited, there was a known fault with the hob, but the hosts are getting straight on it to get it fixed, these things happen. We were kindly provided with a clothes airer which wasn't part of the supplied amenities, which was a huge help when travelling with a 6 month old. This is one of the best equipped airbnb's we have stayed in - with a Nespresso machine, garbage disposal, boiling water tap, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves etc. and having comfy seats for outside was a huge bonus. Thanks for having us! We look forward to staying again if we need an AirBnB in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at The Tides it lived up to everything it was portrayed to be. Melanie and Deborah were extremely helpful and everything was left in immaculate condition and extremely clean and tidy. 100% recommend this apartment. You have lockable door leading to private stairs which lead to accommodation. I stayed there with my grandchildren who loved it too...Nice and clean...lovely decor...amazing big windows..has everything you require...nice and modern. Private drive to park in. 2 mins from pebble beach, no amenities there but so close to apartment doesn't matter. Small local shops and pubs walking distance too, not far to drive for more choice. Peaceful, great location and host was very charming and helpful. We especially loved our greeting from Bentley...family doggy 😀 We will be returning definitely.

Lovely apartment right by the seaside. A few steps and you're at the beach, and from there you can walk all the way to East Head (or take a 5 min drive to the West Wittering car park). Flat is great and well furnished, with everything we needed. Note that linen is an extra cost though! Karen is very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, fast responses and solved the one issue that came up quickly.

Had a great week's stay. Harry met me on arrival and showed me around the flat and quickly arranged for a not quite hot radiator to be looked at first thing the next morning. Apartment is well equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could wish for, the living room is cosy and the bedroom very comfortable. Although just back from the seafront esplanade, it was very quiet whilst just a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and a 5 minute walk from the Hover terminal.

We had a lovely stay at Kays place! It was spotlessly clean, beautiful linen for bedding. Highly recommend, thank you Kay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Seascape. It's a lovely view from the outside terrace and the weather was perfect. We had a 15 month old with us and having the toys, cot and baby gate at the top of the stairs was really helpful. We hope to come back another time.

The property was stunning, immaculately finished, fully equipped, and in an unbeatable location just steps from the beach. Easy walk to a great local restaurant too. The host was very helpful and made everything smooth from start to finish. Our group of 10, spanning all ages from young kids to grandparents, had a fantastic short break. We all wished we could have stayed longer.

Thi house is comfortable cosy every you need, lovely snacks, Tea coffee milk cereal. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, gorgeous top quality bedding. This house is stunning. Thi aloud us an early check-in and also was very kind when I asked to leave a few hours later the morning we was leaving, she responded yes very quickly, thank you Thi. West Wittering beach is only 20 minutes which we sent the day on. Amazing Airbnb, can't wait to come back.

This was our second time staying at this house. The house really is so well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was perfect to enjoy the lovely weather. The location is wonderful, close to many great restaurants and facilities. I’m sure we will be back when we are next in the area. Karen was a great host.

A great place to stay, this really is a family holiday home that's shared with us when available, making it feel like you're a welcome member of the family borrowing the home. A nice quiet park, just metres from the dog friendly beach providing a lovely walk down to Southsea if you're in bed of more man made entertainment. Roxanne is a fantasticly helpful host, ready at any point if needed and being based locally she has a wealth of local knowledge to share.

Beautiful place with views of the beach, all felt very new and clean. Right next to a lively pub only thing was slightly overwhelming check out rules (hard to have done the dishwasher and emptied it all by 10am before checking out, and expecting guests who’ve paid £500+ to strip all the beds and put all bedding and towels in a laundry bag felt a bit OTT).

Great place and Rob is a fantastic host. I’ve stayed in a lot of places and he’s the most attentive and thoughtful host I’ve ever had.

We had a brilliant stay, the weather was fantastic so we were able to sit out on the balcony. The location couldn't have been any better. Lots of people and boat watching 😁 Both bathrooms were of a high standard. The beds are very low so we struggled to get out of them , so that is something to bear in mind,but they were comfortable. Amy's communication was really good. We paid for an early check in and she kepted us updated on the cleaning until we could check in. The lock box is in a tree which we didn't spot straight away but that is properly down to us. It did make us laugh. A few more utensils in the kitchen would be good as we had to use a wooden spoon to get the eggs out of the frying pan but we had a laugh. Parking was easy. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Rock pools is a superb flat for a holiday in Seaview. A stone’s throw from the beach and a lovely sea wall walk into the village and cafes of Seaview. Flat is so well equipped for a small family or as we were an elderly mum and daughter visiting family. I would thoroughly recommend staying here in this lovely bright, clean and spacious flat with all mod cons for a holiday needed and finished to a high quality. Katie is so friendly and responsive to all queries and a great host! Many thanks .

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. Flat was in a great location to walk to beach, pier and local restaurants. Gunwharf Quays is only a short drive away. Accommodation itself was spacious with a balcony with a great view. Gary was friendly in his communication and very responsive. We would stay again.
