“This Airbnb was lovely! A perfect getaway in the mountains of France. We spent time hiking, relaxing, and slowing down. The Airbnb is in a very small town about 20 minutes away from other towns. Pierre and his wife are amazing hosts - very welcoming and accommodating. They stayed up late to welcome us when we arrived and gave lots of suggestions for things to do. Be sure to bring groceries/food with you!”
2 bedroomed, fully equipped apartment with south-west facing balcony overlooking the Canigou mountain range. The apartment is on the 1st floor of an 18th Century village town house and easily accessible to all amenities and bus route from Perpignan. PLEASE NOTE: although the apartment occupies all of the 1st floor of the house the double bedroom is across the stairwell but directly next door to the twin room separated by a thin wall.
“Very nice and quiet place, ideal to rest, and a close drive to many beautiful places in the coast and mountains from both France and Spain. Melanie is very nice and helpful. They have a TV with DVD and a movie collection, also many board games. We were very happy with our stay, on the downside water pressure is very variable and the wifi signal unreliable, its ok for casual use (text, browse) but not if you need to work or make steady calls.”
“25mn from Arles sur tech up there perched in the hollow of the mountain. What calm! Even if the cottage next door sometimes welcomes hikers or other visitors, the walls and the distances make you feel perfectly at ease. The sheepfold is rustic but cozy. The radio and the hi-fi system rocked our evenings. The GR10 to do from the gîte. Magnificent ! Spring water cascades indicated by Catherine where you can swim alone after descending the GR. The +: the spring water fountain that falls into an outdoor bathtub!”
