Vacation rentals with a firepit in Serrekunda

I have been to Gambia many times and have stayed in lots of different accommodation. I would say Ebrima’s place is exactly as described. It is located in the middle of a residential area which is busy 24/7. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Ebrima was extremely helpful in helping me locate the place. The apartment itself was clean and had working air con (paid for separately but with the extra). The apartment is quite basic but it is extremely good value for money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay with Alieu was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming. He made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When our flight was delayed, he graciously allowed us to stay past our checkout time without asking for any extra payment—a true testament to his kindness and hospitality. If you’re looking for a host who genuinely cares about his guests, look no further. Highly recommend staying with Alieu!

We've had a very pleasant few days. Bakeba has been clarifying questions about where to go and Fátima was also very helpful. Anna in the distance has been attentive to how we felt here in her house. We highly recommend going to Tanji beach, the quieter area, there are several very nice barecitos right on the beach, when the tide is low it is really a wonderful aplaya. You can walk patiently, approx 30min... but taxi car with the price, approx 100dalasi... the house has all the amenities to be at home.

Spent an amazing 3 weeks at Cuckoo’s Nest Apartment spotlessly clean, beautiful decorated with modern appliances giving it a real home from home feel More than ample up to date utensils for preparing and making your own meal. Great location to buy freshly caught fish and an array of fresh food stuff just a short stroll away at Tanji fishing village. There’s also a wonderful Bar and Restaurant across the road from the fishing village serving a good selection of food at great prices. Grounds in the apartment are kept immaculately clean by the House Manager Lamin, who works tirelessly to keep the compound clean and tidy. Lamin is a lovely young man with impeccable manners who’s always at hand if you need help. Great, quiet outdoor area for lazy days, beautifully decorated shaded area for alfresco dining and chilling by the pool. Would highly recommend anyone looking to book the Cuckoo’s Nest not to hesitate, can assure you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is really a very nice place to stay while you visit Gambia, you really get the privacy they promise, a local Gambia family lives at the condo whom are responsible for the security and gardening. Another Gambia guy will pick you at the airport, and he will arrange anything you need, and is also a perfect guide when you want to do a trip. The condo is in Bijilo area, not far from the beach, but a 10 minutes walk is slightly underestimated in my opinion, but the beach itself is very nice, if you want to go the beach once. The Senegambia strip is only a few minutes by taxi. The garden is in good condition, with a swimming pool which is very big and cool and maintained everyday and you don't need to share it with other people. Sunbeds and umbrella's are available, although due to the moving sun we needed to move the sunbeds very often to get into shade, which is no-one to blame I think. The appartement were clean and decently equipped with a bathroom, with toilet, hot water shower and a sink.The bedrooms have enough storage a good bed and air conditioning. The Kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything you need, we even tried the bbq. We didn't meet the host Annie in person since she does not live in the Gambia, but I liked all contact I have had with Annie she provided us with a lot of information in advance, and I felt that she really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and instructed the local team to make that happen, I know she checked with them everyday if we we doing well. I really do recommend this place, I have had a much better experience than staying in a hotel/resort.

Wally and the team, Bas and Omar, are wonderful hosts. The place is located in an excellent location, central yet quiet. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the place strongly!
