Waterfront vacation rentals in Sheffield District

Absolutely loved my stay at Jonathan’s place. Ideal neighborhood, which led to some incredible evening walks along the river. Food / coffee nearby is incredible. Everything is well within walking distance. The flat is very private, felt right at home without much disturbance. Jonathan accurate an early check in for me, which was so amazing considering I’d just got in from a very long journey. He was also responsive and empathetic to a unique issue that accured on the first night, so rest assured he will take care of you should anything go wrong! There is an elevator that gets you right up to the third level, super easy to navigate. The shower is wonderful. My only critiquing would be to do with slow WiFi (I was in town for business, so this annoyed me a bit when I needed it) and the main bed could do with more pillows to make it more comfy (totally a personal preference) but all this to say, I’d happily stay again and overall, I’d 100% recommend to anyone considering. Loved our stay in the gorgeous village of Delph. Phil & Anne were lovely & the cottage was charming. We loved the little terrace & the babbling stream & walking path behind it. We were so tired when we arrived we collapsed into the bed which felt like a cloud so the comfort was really appreciated. It was so nice to wake up in the middle of the night & hear the little stream babbling away - it made it so easy to go back to sleep. Wish we could come back more often.

This air bnb is a Gem. We've already booked to come back! Suzanne and Ian are such kind and thoughtful hosts. The flat is so peaceful, clean, warm and comfortable, with lovely views of the garden - it has everything you need. The welcome hamper, milk and eggs are such a lovely welcome touch. The train station, bus stops, lovely walks, pubs, a cafe, and co-op mini supermarket are just a few mins walk away. This is a special find and we can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely flat in a good location a very short walk from the town centre where there’s loads of pubs and restaurants. Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming and the flat is lovely - clean and modern with a really well stocked kitchen. It’s much bigger than it looks in the picture. Glossop is a great location to explore the peaks - there’s loads of walks or running routes you can do from the front door, or via a short bus ride.

We had a lovely stay in Bakewell. The house is really light and spacious with comfortable beds. We had wonderful weather so it was great to spend evenings in the garden. Everything you need is very close so we would definitely recommend and would love to return.

I really enjoyed my stay with Otonye in Sheffield! As the lift was out of order she immediately offered help with carrying my luggage and later on even gave me some recommendations about what to visit in Peak District. The room was very cozy and I really enjoyed the snacks and fruits that were already awaiting me :) Would definitely visit again!

Me and my partner had a lovely stay here! As soon as you walked out the front door you had a lovely stream, plenty of pubs within walking distance and the town had plenty of amenities also! The place itself was stocked with everything you could need (we stayed for 3 nights). The bed was comfy and it felt very ‘home away from home’ which is just what we wanted. Host was very communicative and check in was extremely easy (we arrived late evening due to work commitments during the day). Overall extremely happy with our stay! Would very happily stay again!

Absolutely magical stay! Sarah’s Airbnb exceeded all expectations. The private lake was serene and perfect for morning coffees and evening strolls, and the hot tub under the stars was the ultimate way to unwind. The scenery is absolutely stunning—pictures don’t do it justice. And we can’t forget Wilson the cat, who made us feel truly at home with his cheeky little visits (and his “presents”)! Every detail was thoughtful, and Sarah was a fantastic host. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Dalemore Cottage, the house was lovely, cosy and perfect for our family of 4. The bathrooms are equipped with very nice toiletries which was a great touch. The fresh bread, cookies and milk on arrival were much appreciated and lovely too! Dalemore Cottage is in a great location with lots of things to do within a 30 minute drive. The local pub was very friendly with good food. Pru and Chris were incredibly friendly and helpful with great recommendations for local walks and places to visit. Chris even dropped us off some batteries for one of our children’s board games. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful cosy home and area. Appreciated the local guide to the local shops and restaurants. A fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a beautiful home with stunning views. All the home comforts you would need. The beds were super comfy - that comfy we ordered the same mattress for home! The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the comfy bedrooms. The location was ideal, we took the kids to Gulliver’s Kingdom and Heights of Abraham. Only 5 mins away. Cromford is also beautiful. We definitely hope to stay again - thank you for having us!

We had a great stay at Kingfisher Cottage whilst visiting family. Matt was very responsive and helpful and provided several local recommendations. The location of the cottage next to the river is perfect for a peaceful drink in the evening and our 4 year old enjoyed paddling and watching the cows. Thank you Monika and Matt for a wonderful stay - we'll be back!

Lovely little holiday let, very clean and tidy. Jennifer was a fantastic host very responsive and incredibly friendly. Our kids loved the boxes of toys to play with and the sweets! Thanks for a wonderful stay/Mother’s Day treat.

We really enjoyed our stay at the converted Litton Mill. The accommodation is out of the way in a good way, located a couple of kilometres down a dead end road alongside the River Wye, with a pub at the branch of the road with benches overlooking the running water. The living space was very spacious with all the amenities we required. Having two bathrooms was also very useful, travelling in two families. Gary was very quick to communicate, coming back to our requests swiftly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.

Great apartment in a good location for central Glossop, just minutes walk from the centre, but away from the busy high street. Overlooking a stream, comfortable and we’ll equipped with parking place.

We had an amazing time. The accommodation had literally everything you need or could want! Superb quality. Super comfy beds and all the little details were great. Communication was quick, friendly and efficient and couldn’t recommend more. Didn’t want to come home! So quiet all night and felt safe.

We had a lovely stay, at Anne & Phil's. Anne was welcoming and warm, the place was exactly as described, the location was peaceful, but also within a minute walk to local pubs and co-op. During the days we went for lovely walks, to Uppermill and also visited the historic Fort. Will definitely return.

We had 4 adults and 3 children under 5 years stay for two nights. The kids loved it with plenty if space for them to run around and for the adults to socialise. The running joke of the weekend was trying to find something to complain about because we couldn't. Everything in the apartment is of premium quality. From the beds and quilts to the bowls and mugs. You can tell the owners care for the apartment and the experience of the guest. Apartment was spotless when we arrived. The views and locations is fantastic. The sound of running water very calming. I will be back for sure.
