Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shelby County

This was a great place for five of us enjoying the bourbon trail. It is within 30 minutes of Buffalo Trace and Louisville, and an hour from Bardstown. Really enjoyed the back porch. Cooked dinner 3 nights and it felt at home. There is plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils. Mark is a great host and was responsive.

Loved our stay! Huge house with 8 bedrooms - plenty of room for our whole crew. The game room kept us entertained for hours, and we had a blast watching movies in the home theater. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only 30 mins from Louisville airport and downtown, which was super convenient. David (the host) was awesome - always got back to us right away when we had questions. Perfect spot if you're looking to hang with family and friends!

This is a jaw dropping, breath taking, absolutely stunning property!!! Pristine clean, beautiful surroundings, incredibly spacious, lacking nothing! I was deeply moved by Madge’s kindness and generosity when she offered to give us a ride in her four wheel drive vehicle due to inclement weather. She was intentional in communicating with me and making sure everything went smoothly. I don’t have the words to express how comfortable, enjoyable, and pleasant our stay was! What a lovely experience!!! Thank you so much Madge!!!

Gorgeous country estate with lots to do inside and out. Tons of space for large groups as well as entertaining. loved the design and furnishings as well as the beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed with cooking utensils and everything one would need

This place was a little bit of heaven and it was extremely clean and just as discribed in the listing. And the backyard was amazing. It is perfect for couples or families with plenty of room. My husband and I really had a peaceful stay and we really got to relax after having very busy lives. Everything was clean and we had an amazing time in the pool. We loved this place so much we will be visiting again.

After we had difficulty with the first place we reserved, John willingly accepted our same day request to stay at his home. He was immediately responsive with our request and with all other questions we had upon arriving. The home is gorgeous, clean and well equipped. John even opened and heated the inground swimming pool early for us to enjoy. We will request to stay again next time we are visiting the area which is often.

Just stayed a night but would have stayed more. Good spot near downtown. Perfect for a Louisville excursion.

We had a WONDERFUL stay, the apartment was gorgeous. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Bruce was very responsive from the beginning of my booking through our complete stay. He went above and beyond with little details to make the stay so personal. We loved the muffins 😊 I highly recommend staying here while in the area. Libor’s place was easy to find, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for my daughters and I while we were in town for a volleyball tournament. There are great restaurants and local shops in the area, easy to get to everything and we felt very safe while we were there. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. Thanks

Location was good with Kroger near by and some nice restaurants near by. Free street parking is a huge bonus. The bathroom was pleasantly stocked with just about anything you could ask for!! It was perfectly sized for my daughter and I. The only complaint is a faint odor in the house, but it didn't really bother me very much. I suspect someone smoked marijuana in the house at some point, but it really wasn't terrible. It is a second story unit, the stairs were not a problem for us, but if anyone has trouble with stairs, just keep that in mind.

Eric was very responsive to any questions that I had and the place was immaculate. Would definitely stay there again!

We booked Sadie and Tyler’s home for a family reunion. We loved the grounds and the proximity to Keeneland. Having access to a back entrance saved time and frustration. Their home is beautiful with tasteful decor and many amenities. We felt at home immediately.

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
