Vacation rentals with beach access in Shikoku

The environment is clean and warm, located in a good location, convenient shopping nearby and close to Ritsurin Park, you can walk to this must-see spot in Takamatsu

The place was cozy,around 12-15 mins walk from the station.The neighbourhood was quiet.3 mins walk to a supermarket. The host was responsive and friendly,sent a drive to pick us up at the station. As the building was currently under renovation so we didn’t use the balcony. Overall the stay was pleasant.

We were looking for simplicity and were alone in the house for the first still quite cold March weeks. It is a kind of Japanese youth hostel and we felt particularly comfortable, especially because there was no more than had to be - good, simple beds on beautiful tatami mats, a hot bathtub and a view of the sea from the room.

This was a great location close to the beach, in a quiet rural area. The home is rustic but has all of the amenities listed, including an annex with a western bedroom for those that may prefer to use the bunkbeds. We stayed in the main building which had a toilet at one end, shower at the other, with plenty of living space. We even made use of the washing machine! The futons were quite comfortable but given the age of the home and traditional constructions there was traffic noise evident at night. While we enjoyed our stay, this home is best suited for those under 5’8” tall…those of us around 6’ have to duck everywhere, especially in the kitchen.

We had a great stay. It was the best accommodation I've ever stayed in! First of all, the view was outstanding, and I felt that I wanted the owner to make a good trip for the guests from the amenities and supplies, and it was very comfortable and wonderful. The children and husband were delighted, and my son cried to stay here more on the way home, and it took a long time to check out (lol) I would like to visit Shodoshima again at this inn! Shin and Emi are very nice and friendly, as they gave us advice about transportation, to-dos etc. months before our stay, also collect our preferences (meal options, sauna, art performance etc.) days before. About the house, it is everything we wish for and beyond, neat and tidy, traditional Japanese style (we slept on the tatami like babies), and retro but beautiful interior design. Would definitely recommend for group of 2-3 people! Last but not least, their art performance transcends our understanding of live cinema, also learnt a lot about history and environment, would also recommend!

The hostess was very nice and helpful, she even picked us up from the train station. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need - we felt right at home and yet on vacation. The area is beautiful. A little cumbersome to reach by public transport but not impossible. We also used the barbecue facilities. We will miss this place!

Minmi welcomed us kindly, and we enjoyed the fish dishes you gave us in the evening. Most of the Japanese accommodations were cold, but Minmi's accommodation provided a thick duvet, so I was able to sleep warmly. There was also a heater in the living room, so I was able to play until late at night ~ Most importantly, there was a beautiful sea in front of the sunset, and I was able to spend a good time in a secluded sea without people.

There was plenty of space in the room and the kitchen than I expected, and we had a pleasant time with a family of four plus one dog.Above all, it is clean and well maintained!The supermarket was a short walk away, so it was easy to shop.

A little distance from the city, far from the map, it is more convenient to eat to the city, walk back to the city is scarce, the disadvantage is that there is no sound insulation in the entire house (three people can chat wherever they are in the house) The decoration is a little older, if the bath leaks in the bathroom, the other is satisfied, the advantage is that the price is very high, the location is convenient, there is a washing machine balcony that can be fresh clothes, quick boiling pot.Dishware and microwave are also very convenient👍
