Futaba House is easy to get to and was a very pleasant stay.

Yoshimichi san is very kind and made our stay very easy. The place is very clean and has everything you need, they have a hot and cold air conditioner in the room, but in winter (we stayed in February) you might feel very cold in the kitchen, toilet and shower room.

Naomi and Yuya were extremely helpful and kind. I don’t drive and there weren’t any bike rental places , so getting around was pretty much me walking 30 min to the station, but they printed out the bus schedules, talked me through it, had I been able to use it, it would’ve definitely been significantly less confusing (buses are pretty confusing in japan sometimes). While the distance train station is a commitment by foot, it’s definitely not tiresome, it just takes so long. But 7/11 and a grocery store are 3/5 min walk from the house. I def recommend having a car or bike though if you’re trying to sightsee. The place was exactly as in the listing, everything was so comfy I basically felt like I was living there. I was also kind of worried ab the hot water bc I take a shower in the morning and night, but I never hit the hot water limit so anyone else worried about that can def stay relaxed ab that. Overall I would absolutely stay here again!
