“Perfect location for snowmobiling in the winter! We had 3 guys very comfortably sleep here. Brandi and her husband Jeremy were great hosts. This is more of a tiny home which was perfect for us since we were only there to snowmobile and needed a place to crash when we were done. The only downside is the bathroom was not attached but is only a 20 ft walk away which didn’t really bother us seeing as we didn’t spend much time there. Highly recommend and will more then likely be going back!”
We are centrally located in the Heart of God's Country and minutes from the following: *Seney National Wildlife Refuge (10 minutes) *Blue Ribbon Trout Fishing on the Fox River (2 minutes) *Ernest Hemingways's Fishing Spot (10 minutes) *Grand Marais Harbor and the H58 Lake Superior Shoreline Tour of Sable Dunes, Sable Falls, Sable Lake, and Pictured Rocks, Miner's Castle (25 minutes) *Tahquamenon Falls (1 hour) *Big Springs (Kitch-iti-Kipi) (1 hour) *Munising (35 minutes) *Snowmobile/SXS Central!
“We would highly recommend Boomtown Cabins. Host Jonathan went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and worry free. The cabin is beautiful and was perfect for our snowmobiling adventure. The trail is literally right outside your door, and Jonathan kept us updated on trail conditions and offered great advice for our ride. Other conveniences include gas and a terrific place to eat (Andy’s) just across the street. Don’t hesitate to book a stay anytime of the year, we will definitely be back!”
We are located just outside of Munising on scenic H-58, the gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We are only minutes away from pristine sandy beaches, dozens of waterfalls, boat cruises, kayak excursions, and so much more. Our first cabin was built as a duplex with two separate units, much like a king motel suite. In the winter months we have plenty of parking space for trucks and trailers, we are only 2 short miles from groomed snowmobile trails and 5 miles from the Bear Trap.
“What an amazing place to stay. The owners were amazing and very helpful on local tips. I ran into sled troubles and they were very eager to help. They even gave a pint of ice cream from their shop. They made sure the snow was cleaned in the driveway. The cabin was perfect and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept on away from home. Large flat screen TV, great water pressure, clean, warm and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay there again.”
