We are the descendants of an old San Mateo County pioneer family. We have been passed down and live on a 40 acre redwood forest, backed by 1000 acres of parkland. We would like to share our forest with you. Take a walk and learn of the history behind La Honda's Woodwardia Lodge built in 1913. Walk on private 150 year old logging trails at this historic getaway. Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding Redwood forest. Cozy up in a 40' New 2024 RV. If you are interested we also host an Airbnb Experience called Life With Farm Animals At Rancho Roben Rescues where you get a 90-120 minute up close encounter with all of the animals - taking time to learn about each of the unique creatures that lives here and the opportunity to interact with them directly. Pet a chicken, groom a pony, feed a goat, take a walk patrolling the fields with our livestock guardian dogs.

The Airstream @ the Hacienda is the perfect getaway for anyone who is looking for peace and tranquility. Built in 1977, this modest 32’ Airstream rests on a ridge top that over looks the San Lorenzo Valley. It is not uncommon to witness a Redtailed Hawk flying overhead or a small band of Squirrels rustling in the trees. The Hacienda is centrally located and only 5 minutes to Ben Lomond town center, 10 minutes to Henry Cowell State Park & only 20 minutes to Santa Cruz.

Bed a bit smaller than a double size bed: private bath in home. We have 2 cats. If you have cat allergies, our trailer will not be the right place for your stay. Fully functional Kitchen and bathroom with stand up shower. Come pick it up from me. Or for an extra charge, let me handle all the hitching and towing. Pick your campsite within 150 miles of Alameda, and I’ll drop it off and set everything up for you.

Or enjoy it alone. 29’ RV so there’s plenty of room not to feel cramped. Rooms at each end of the RV so plenty of privacy. Private door of you want to close off the rooms from each other. Unit is hooked up full time to electric, water, and septic. No action needed from the guest for those task.
