Absolute piece of jewelry. The place used to be a restaurant, it has a nice charm. Lorenzo is very nice and always responds very promptly. We can only recommend it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The host was helpful, chill and very kind. But he gives you your own space. So you don’t feel overwhelmed. Denize is a beautiful small city. Every week there’s a market, and there seem to be holiday markets too. The people are very friendly, and very interested and welcoming to foreigners which is nice! There’s a pub/dive bar called Trevi, I really recommend visitors to go to. The people are friendly, it’s a “locals bar”, so it’s a great place to get information / recommendations, and it’s only 3 minutes away. There’s a polish butchershop, and two grocery stores less than 5 minutes away. Denize seems to have an older population, but you’re only 30 minutes away from Ghent, giving you the best of both worlds. ( Small town vibes to rest at night, then a bigger university city for the weekends)

Sylvie is a great host, she is very friendly, responsive and made sure every day that everything was ok. The house is in a really quiet neighborhood and there never was a problem to park my car. If you need a base to explore Ghent - this is the perfect place!
