The listing matched the images. Furniture is a bit outdated, but cozy. We enjoyed the view of the river from the large window. A big plus was the sauna and this gigantic tranquility.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible. The cabin was perfect for remote work—good internet, peaceful surroundings, and everything we needed. The outdoor and indoor fireplaces made for cozy evenings, and everything was done. A special highlight were the hosts, who were super responsive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. They can provide tours from the cabin, allowing for a true arctic circle experience. Ice fishing, northern lights, local stories, and shared local cuisines—it felt like a dream come true. So many pinch-me moments. Highly recommend!

Really nice basic cottage, awesome isolated location. There are 2 small bedrooms and all the amenities, tools etc you need for a place like this. We really loved it for our 2-night getaway. Unfortunately the lakeside sauna burned down just before our arrival but if/when it's built back I will definitely return. Please note that there is no electricity - plan accordingly. Per was a fantastic host - really tried everything to make our stay pleasant and smooth.

We spent two weeks of hiking, reading and leisure in this wonderful area; wherever we walk, the view is amazing, whomever we meet, we experience friendliness, whenever we return to the house, we can feel a warm welcome. Thanks to the sharing of some moltebær, we could find some ripe fruits, which we now dared to eat - as delicious, as the ones, Laila provided. The two weeks fly away in a flash... Though, we just left, the desire to return starts growing.

Have rented this place sometime in the past and are as happy now as last time. Private and calm area. Absolutely perfect when you bring an energetic dog, considering a large fenced area 😁 Perfect place to rent now at Easter, with ski slopes right next door. Actually got to see the northern lights as well. Would recommend!

Good communication with landlord, nice place that has everything you would need. Easy check in was nice when we arrived late at night Cozy landlords who gave great travel tips. Would recommend.

We were fascinated by the photo shown on Airbnb - and in reality, the view is even better! This is an enchanted place, and Regina is a great host. We (2 couples) stayed for 5 nights and were truly sad to leave. The house is clean, has ample space, and has a great jacuzzi on the deck. We enjoyed Honningsvaer as the perfect home base for several excursions, such as a hike to the 'true' most northern point of Europe and a bird watching boat tour. Thus, all in all, we had a fabulous time.

Simply our favorite place in this part of the world! This was our fifth stay in Margherita's flat over the years, and we always enjoyed the peaceful life in Kongsfjord and the spectacular surroundings.
