Beautiful place in the middle of the green of the hill country and (the chickens of) the farm (who visited from time to time, your eggs were delicious). Wonderful hiking area, no one comes across on the way.

We loved our stay at Marjolein and Herman's cottage. Both inside and out you have a great view. Outside there is a comfortable seat, the living room is tastefully decorated and the beds are good. The kitchen is small, but complete. We did not do extensive cooking, but there are two hotplates and an oven/microwave, so warming up happened quickly. From the cottage you walk to Epen, where there is a SPAR, or take a nice walk along the Kleine Geul or in the Vijlenerbos. There are several beautiful bike routes in the neighborhood. We liked an e-bike with all those hills.
