Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sligo

Me and my friends came to Ireland on a surf trip and spent an amazing weekend at Maggies place. It was small but had everything we needed, the beds were super confy and the fireplace was a lovely touch. Easky was just 5 mins away so we were able to get plenty of surfs. 100% recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Liath Lodge. As a family of five, it was the perfect base for our holiday. Foxford offered some great spots for food and coffee, and we especially enjoyed a day trip to Enniscrone Beach—stunning scenery and plenty to keep the kids entertained. We also tackled a walk up Nephin Mountain, making it to the halfway point before the weather turned—it’s definitely one we’d love to complete on a drier day. There’s so much to explore within a short distance of the lodge. Siobhan’s place truly felt like a home away from home. She had thought of everything, and the house was spotless. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Pebbles Beach in Sligo! The location is absolutely stunning—right along the Wild Atlantic Way, offering breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Irish coast. David was an exceptional host—very welcoming and helpful. Upon our arrival, he took the time to walk us through the area and gave great recommendations on what to explore nearby, which really enhanced our experience. The property itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. We had a very pleasant and memorable stay, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

I wish we could have stayed longer! Such a beautiful area and Rebecca’s place makes a perfect home base to explore. You can see Benbulbin from driveway. You can walk or drive just down the road to Streedagh Beach which left us in complete awe. If you love history, like I do, check out the Armada shipwreck memorial. This is also a perfect location to visit all Yeats memorial locations without staying in busy Sligo. And even though it’s very quiet and off the beaten path, there’s a lovely grocery store just down the road, which was such a welcome sight for us, tired of eating out for every meal. Which means it was also really nice to have a fully functional kitchen. Really idyllic backyard are too!

We booked this last minute and we were able to check in within a few hours of making the reservation. The host met us on arrival and was really welcoming. There was milk, tea and coffee in the kitchen which was a nice touch. We were able to cook a meal and have a really quiet stay. The host mentioned a little walk to the river which was lovely and their dog was adorable. Overall a really lovely little spot with attentive hosts and a cuddly dog!

The cabin was exactly as described. We enjoyed dinner at the Picnic Basket and at the local pub in Ballymote. Quiet cabin, quiet location. Comfortable beds, pleny warm.

Patricia was super helpful and friendly. Out of all the airbnbs ive ever stayed Patricia has communicated the most with me (as i booked far in advance) Flexible check in, great space, wonderful shower and bed and even offered to drive us to our car that we left down the road for a wedding. 10/10 airbnb and host

We had a lovely few nights at the cottage. The accomodation was compact but had everything you needed. Clare thought of every little detail for our stay and was very responsive. Even left some welcome treats! The location is very close to Streedagh beach and near shops and amenities in Grange. We felt very at home in Clare's place, would recommend!
