Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

In scenic and cultured Östra Ämtervik, this unique and beautiful Värmlandsgård dating back to the 1800s. Here you get to experience a rural setting overlooking vast meadows and fields. Along the gravel road down to lake Fryken, there are swimming facilities. In the beautiful forest there are mushrooms and berries in autumn. The farm is an eight-minute drive to Sunne, where you will find a wide range of cafes, restaurants, shops and shopping. On the winter holidays, you can go in length. The nearest slalom slope is the hovfjället (55min)

Cosy cottage between Karlstad and Sunne

Lovely Cottage on the country. For those who want to take it easy and enjoy nature. Lots off wild animals a round the farm. You will see Moos, Deer, Fox and lots off birds, in the early spring and late summer. The autumn gives lots off berries and mushrooms , free to pick for every one. On the farm, besides me, I have a dog, Shadow and 3 cats, Saga, Timjan and Bassilika, 2 horses, Grace and Cash and some chickens. This is one of the most beautiful place on earth, you really have to see this.

The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km). There are enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 4 people. Separate toilet and shower rooms are upstairs, with 2 bedrooms. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Sauna by the lake, and the woodfired outdoor bath next to it!
