This is exactly as described: a cosy cottage, vintage themed but with mod cons and very clean and comfortable rooms. The bed is really good! Caroline provides all the information required for the gadgets in the comprehensive booklet. We loved the way she'd created a place that made us feel we were staying in a friend's house..lovely flapjacks and welcome pack with milk, tea bags, plenty of coffee etc.. Location is brilliant: we could visit the area from Southwold to Sutton Hoo with very little driving time. The local pub is lovely, open mic night great fun..food was excellent. We feel we can thoroughly recommend this cottage and Caroline's excellent hosting and have done so already! An absolute gem, loved it! 😍

We loved our stay at Acorn cottage barn. Location is perfect for Aldeburgh and exploring Orford. The barn was spotless, spacious and we had everything we needed plus more. Toys for the toddler was a bonus plus cot, highchair, black out blinds and bath mats were super thoughtful. Helen was always responsible and made sure we had all we needed. Would highly recommend this accommodation and will be telling our friends and family about it. Thanks Helen!

We stayed at the Summerhouse for about a week over the Easter holidays with our 1 and 6 year old. We loved it and would definitely return. Miranda made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. The shared games room and trampoline were big hits with our boys. It was so great to have an enclosed garden they could safely play in and be seen easily from indoors. We also liked puddle spotting after a rainy afternoon along the long lane that takes you onto the farm and walking along the edges of the field! Easy to get to without a car with the Katch bus service and lots to enjoy on the doorstep with Snspe Maltings a 10 min walk away. From there, we took a boat trip, walked with the RSPB and did a family music workshop as well as walking in and around the beautiful landscape.

We loved our stay at June's place and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the pretty and private garden. The cottage is very well equipped, spacious and clean and the fact that it is a 10 minutes stroll to the excellent Crown pub is an added bonus. June and Nic are great hosts and we appreciated their helpful suggestions for new things to explore in the area.
