The hosts to the property are amazing people. Very family oriented place to rent. Took our dirt bike out, we got to pet the farm animals. Amazing weekend we had visiting. Also if you have time for a little drive down the way to Shingle Springs there is a restaurant named CT European Cafe very delicious food. My family and I will definitely be returning when we are in the area. Can not express enough how great the hospitality was. Thank you so much for everything.

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.

Lovely stay in the woods. Hosts were super responsive to our needs. Thoughtful touches like a personal note, chocolates and bottled water upon arrival, and a kitchen that has all you could need, including storage baggies foe leftovers. We loved it here.

Harvey was a great host. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home and wanted to stay an extra night, which they accommodated very kindly. They left snacks and refreshments, and all kinds of additions for us inside to make us feel at home and to enjoy our visit thoroughly. Lots of information about the local wineries in the area which we enjoyed for two days. It is quiet and very well appointed. Highly recommend!
