An absolutely amazing experience staying at Sere Ni Ika. The location is perfect and the house itself has everything you need. The housekeeper, Loata, and her family were beautiful hosts and looked after our every need during our stay (including cleaning the house, changing the beds, doing our laundry). Loata cooked some lovely Fijian meals for us and helped to organise unique experiences for us (like cooking a traditional lovo!). Would definitely recommend staying at Sere Ni ika - we will be returning for sure!

Where to begin? Our stay was idyllic. Ajay (driver, tour guide, and all-round great guy) picked us up at the airport, and Jay met us at our place. Jay was the most friendly, helpful, and accommodating host ever! He ensured we had everything we could ever want and answered all of our incessant questions. And our place was amazing! Two of us were in Raintree Cottage, and two in the neighboring Raintree Gardens. We made passionfruit-kumquat-mint mojitos from the fruit & herbs in the garden, enjoyed phenomenal snorkeling & kayaking just across the road, blissed out on ice cream & smoothies from the stand next door, and dined liked kings on fantastic Indian and Fijian dinners prepared with love by Ajay's wife. Adventures like diving, birdwatching, and horseback riding were easy to arrange and simply wonderful. It's hard not to sound like a brochure, but it really was out of this world. We loved every moment and simply can't wait to go back. Vinaka Jay, Shauna, and Ajay! Until next time!

Incredible hosts - jay was beyond helpful especially when our baby was sick AJ who helps guests with driving became our fast friend who we will cherish forver he and his family were so welcoming and their cooking was so authentic and even our toddler loved eating !! There is so much good to say about Raitotoka, it’s hard to know where to begin. We’ve stayed at many Airbnb‘s all over, this is at the top. If you’re coming to Taveuni, specifically if diving, trust us and look no further, this is where you should stay. Logistics—perfectly located. Easily walkable to an amazing dive shop (salt divers, exceptional), best restaurant on the island Tramonto, great coffee / lunch spot The Dive, airport, supermarket, and well positioned to get to the waterfalls and Lavena coastal walk. The place itself— stunning lush grounds without the impersonal, commercial aspect of a “big time” resort. Beautiful birds, butterflies, colorful plants, incredible infinity pool, a magical staircase down to a private beach. It’s really something else. Most importantly, the personal touch of the hosts is unmatched. Fresh baked bread and fruits every morning, help with subtleties of planning the day, just all the effort that makes a stay special. 100/10 Vinaka Amoreena

Just got back to Canada after 9 nights at Vale Sekoula. My wife and our 2 boys (11/14) had an amazing time on Taveuni. The property was exactly as described and we loved the ability to paddle from the front yard to amazing snorkelling - and paddle boarding to the Dive for an afternoon beverage. The property host, Vinna was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is well equipped - and the island of Taveuni was rich with walks, waterfalls and fun. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Such a secluded, retreat like feel. Storm at the reception was amazing. Everyone was fantastic and catered to our every need. The property is even more beautiful in person. Highly recommend this resort! Also, Taveuni is amazing 🙌🏼

A beautiful villa at the top of a steep hill above Maravu with great views across the strait. It was a great base for our trip - 3 couples. The pool is a great amenity to have particularly when it’s hot and humid. As mentioned in the listing, there is no air conditioning so it can get quite warm during the day but we found the fans in the bedrooms and the breeze at night to be quite effective so no issue for us. The bed linen and toiletries and towels provided were great and the kitchen is well stocked, the fridge full of bottled water was also very much appreciated. Whilst the meal plans were a convenient option, we only did one dinner through our hosts as my partner is from the island so we had family and friends to arrange food and preferred to go out etc. Tramonto at the bottom of the hill is a favourite of ours whenever we’re on the island, Dive Cafe is also a lovely spot to sit and relax with a coffee or food and Ria’s in Naqara for some local faves - cheaper than resorts too!

We had lovely time over the Christmas holiday. The view was amazing and it was super quiet. We kayaked out to one of the islands and the snorkeling there was pretty amazing. Helene organized a ride from the airport, which was very close and could've been easily walked to/from. The villa seemed to be recently renovated, had everything we needed and I think when the pool is finished being built it will add a nice touch. It was unfortunate that the solar power was out on the main house which affected the Wi-Fi, but otherwise it's Fiji! Renting a car in my opinion is recommended as it was a bit of a walk to the cafe with the good coffee, but there are plenty of resorts nearby to eat at. Shout out to Ajay who picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour to the waterfalls at Bouma and to Civa pearl farm tour. He also let us rent his car for a few days so we could get around. Overall a great trip to Taveuni island
