Beautiful apartment in rural surroundings, located in Søhøjlandet, halfway between Aarhus and Silkeborg. From the apartment, you can see a fantastic view to the south and west. It is possible to use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys. REMEMBER to bring your own bed linen, otherwise it is possible to rent this. Payment of this is made upon arrival. REMEMBER to clean on departure.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cozy annex appartment in the countryside

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

Lovely annex in Denmark's highest village, overlooking Himmelbjerget. Sorring is surrounded by beautiful, hilly nature, where there is plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling. There is a bike path all the way to Silkeborg. Transport time from Sorring is only 15-30 minutes drive to Silkeborg, Skanderborg and Aarhus, respectively. Sorring is a 5-10 minute drive from the Aarhus-Herning highway. There is a 5-10 minute walk to shopping.

You get your very own little "apartment" with a private entrance, a small kitchen with dining space for four people, a private bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a double bed (140x200), sofa, TV and workspace.
