The flat was really comfortable and a lovely space to unwind. It’s surprisingly spacious, and having the TV to ourselves was a bonus. There’s also a good parking spot, which made things even easier. The apartment was spotless, and the bed and bedding were fresh and super comfy. We were really happy with the location and are already hoping to book again.

Great apartment - modern, comfortable and central

This is self-contained first-floor apartment, finished to high standard, and well fitted out with everything you’d need for a stay here. Alan and Carole are lovely people, helpful and caring, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great place to stay, Sarah and Paul were both very friendly. The space was clean and tidy, there is a private garden to sit in and Sherwood forest is only 15 minutes walk away. There are good local amenities and there is off road parking.

A fabulous apartment spotless, great to have off road parking right outside entrance. Host was brilliant and provided guidance on getting around the area. Neighbourhood excellent lovely and quiet. Great stay will use again. Would I recommend…yes absolutely.

Amazing space and service everything was well thought and laid out. Very clean and tidy. Really comfortable beds, sofas etc definitely felt like a home away from home. Thank Pamela we would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting surrounding areas.

Had a really good time staying at Stephan’s place. He was super quick to respond to any messages, which made everything easy. The flat was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was smooth — the directions were clear (my bad for not reading them properly at first!). The location is great, really close to the city and a popular coffee spot. With such a short notice Kiran responded to our request quickly. Information on given how to get there, sat nav will not take you direct to the property, and what was available in the local area was very useful. The accommodation was as described and extremely well presented. The whole flat was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Matlock Bath and the area has lots to offer, to stay here with a beautiful view from the window is worth while. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Kiran.

Karl communicated well before our arrival and gave clear instructions about how to find the place. Check in was comprehensive with lots of tips for local things to do, places to eat and drink etc. Karl is super dog-friendly and our dog was made to feel very welcome - she loved the loan of the dog bed! Karl’s place is beautiful, homely and we were encouraged to explore his collections of books, games and so on. He’s thought of everything in terms of amenities, and we had an amazing, relaxing and straightforward stay. Buxton is lovely, with lots of great pubs and bars, and the property is right by the beautiful Pavilion Gardens (where the parkrun is, if you’re a runner!).

We had a lovely stay at this property! We booked extremely last minute due to other accommodation falling through and were pleasently surprised by how modern, clean, and comfortable the flat was. I would definitely book again.

Lovely little apartment overlooking the village, plenty of places to eat, drink and walk … lovely place

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

Beryl was a wonderful host! We stayed for 1 night as a quick stopover on a long journey and Beryl was very accommodating. Even though we booked with very short notice the space was immaculate so we could tell Beryl had very high standards. Everything was spotlessly clean and as described. We had a great nights sleep and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to use it due to our fleeting visit, the patio seating area was really nice and no doubt a great place to enjoy the countryside air. I would highly recommend Beryl’s place.

As described. Great little place, perfect location for exploring the attractions of the Peak District, as well as being near shops, pubs and restaurants. Would certainly come again.

Had a lovely time staying at Marcus’s flat in central Buxton - super communicative and helpful and the flat was cosy, clean and very modern. Would v much recommend for any couples looking to explore the Peak District for a weekend

After being led down by another property I found this one and was not disappointed. Good value for money, clean and fully equipped. Clear instructions and great come from the host. Beds were comfortable. Location very good, just a short walk to the main road where there are plenty of facilities. Very easy to get a bus to the centre of the city. Would definitely return and would recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Gareth was so welcoming and friendly. His place was clean and stylish with everything we needed for our weekend. There is a lovely outdoor space with beautiful views of the surroundings. We appreciated the ample parking. It is in walking distance to local activities like Go Ape, and also into Buxton itself, where there are lots of nice places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit Buxton.

What a beautiful apartment. It's not a home from home as my home isn't decorated and furnished as beautifully as this. Fantastic location, designed to perfection and a truly lovely place to come home to ar the end of a busy day.
