Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Yuba River

Andy was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The home is perfectly situated with easy access to snowboarding and the Bay Area. We hope to stay there again!

We wish we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect, the host was fantastic, and everything was spotless and comfortable. There was plenty of space—both inside and out—for our group of two couples to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend!

Spent a nice and relaxing girls weekend here. This stay is definitley somones home and not just an off the shelf air bnb stay. it had everything we needed and more, including a pre heated hot tub, robes, plush towels and some of the most comfortable beds!! We would most definatley stay here or at any of Ben's other listing's.

Amazing place to stay.. I would stay here again without hesitation. Beautiful and very peaceful!! Home was spotless and plenty of towels and linen. Everything was absolutely perfect with plenty of room for 5 people. The only downside was we didn’t get to see yogi or boo boo.. Maybe next time!!

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

It was a great stay that can host 10+ people. It’s in the woods, quite surrounding and just off the freeway. Home has all the facilities. As we went during winter time, we didn’t venture out.

Loved staying in Grass Valley and just being amidst the pines. Very quiet neighborhood. Space was clean. Host was attentive when we mentioned an issue with the dishwasher. Hot tub was a nice add!

Great location near businesses and safe surroundings. Very pleasant space with a lot of architectural charm. Would definitely recommend especially if relying on public transit like I do.

This apartment was so cute, very clean, and beautifully decorated. It made my family and I feel right at home. The hosts was very friendly, informative, and communicative with us. The only con was that the place is located on a main heavy traffic road, but there is a sound machine in the bedroom which is helpful to drown out the sound of traffic while you sleep. With all that being said and knowing that, I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came available. (:

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a mountain biking getaway and absolutely loved it! The home was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful outdoor lighting at night, which created a magical atmosphere among the trees. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and check-in was quick and seamless. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

This home was such a great place for our family (with two young kids) to stay. The yard is so beautiful and peaceful, the home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home, though it was also quite walkable into town. Really the pictures don’t do it justice! We’ll definitely stay here again! Also Bob and Ann were super responsive if anything came up… thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hart House. The craftsmanship of the home is truly spectacular and we felt so comfortable there. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make delicious meals. We enjoyed the outdoor space and soaking in the hot tub. Truly a special gem of a home. Thank you for everything! We hope to stay again soon.

This was my 3rd time at this cabin. I’ve stayed here solo and with family. Every time I wish I’d booked a longer stay. The cabin is well off the main road so it’s very peaceful and secluded. The house is always clean and comfortable but I spend most of my time at the pond. I’ve caught small fish but last time saw a HUGE bass! Spent hours trying to catch it with no luck, but there are definitely big fish in there. I also saw other wild life including an otter. Even being secluded, the cabin is short drive to Nevada city and Grass Valley in case you want to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon.

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful spot… Wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the pond more… but we’ll just have to come back during the warmer seasons!

Looks exactly as pictured and Steve was always nearby if we needed help figuring anything out with the house. It is a very large home with a beautiful view. Used the hot tub and pellet stove almost every night. It was the perfect escape for the holidays with our family. Enough space that family could rest while sharing the home with an infant.

My family really enjoyed staying at Sam’s place - the pool was perfect, the house was super clean and comfortable, Sam was responsive with answers to our questions, the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spotless. The open space right next to the house was a highlight for taking morning walks.
