Skipperhuset

Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The skipper house was built in 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in spring 2021. In collaboration with the local paint company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and aisle with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is walled in with the brewery house that has renovated the baking oven.

The house is located in a single-family area with about 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk from Flekkefjord city center. The single-family home appears to be family friendly with several playgrounds, sea, beach and forest in the immediate vicinity.

Holiday on a farm, close to the sea.

Holiday on a farm and still a short distance to beaches, zoo and Mandal Hus on farm with 3 bedrooms. Suitable for 2 families. It is 10 min to Mandal, 5 min to beaches and the sea. 45 min to Dyreparken in Kristiansand. There is a nice apartment on the side that can be rented if you are several in the travel party. ^Farm holiday in the south, near the sea^ is the title of the apartment on Airbnb. There is a cozy covered terrace with barbecue, where pleasant summer evenings can be enjoyed.

This little gem is located right on the river Otra, 5 km from the city centre. The location is perfect whether you want city life or the rural feel. The path to the fields and the bus stop into the city are a stone's throw from the house. The property has a double garage and a private jetty. All amenities are a short drive/bike ride away. The house is recently renovated with a brand new bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and laundry room. The place has a very laid back and calm atmosphere.
