Sunrise Casita: a tiny house at Cana Barn

Our 250 sq ft tiny house was built by our talented craftswoman Kara. We used wood from our property and reclaimed materials to create a cozy and unique getaway. The front porch looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and looks up to a local vintage sign. We are LGBTQ+ welcoming. Sunrise to us is the embodiment of a fresh start and a new opportunity. It is hope and possibility, adventure and inspiration, beauty and wonder. We hope all of this for your stay in our tiny house!

This one bedroom apartment is apart of a duplex with a separate entrance and its own outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Free street parking is available and easy to access. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This brand new, 550 square foot tiny house in the trees has everything you need, and is designed with a local feel. Minutes from George Washington National Forest and dry river. The cabin is only 20 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg. Note that this cabin has one bedroom downstairs, and one bed upstairs in the loft area accessible by ship ladder style steps. The loft is a sleeping area but does not have it’s own door.

Welcome to Staunton! This historic home was one of the original workers' cottages in the 1800s. It's located downtown with a short walk to shops, restaurants, bakeries, Mary Baldwin University, Gypsy Hill Park, and Blackfriars Playhouse. It has all the charms of an older home like original pine floors and tavern-style doors, but with a modern kitchen, bathroom, internet, and AC. There is plenty of street parking and the neighborhood is beautiful!

This quaint space has everything you need to enjoy your stay here in Staunton! We do accept small pets on approval with a pet cleaning charge.
