As soon as they enter the house, I know with great pleasure that my clients are enchanted by the furniture (which corresponds exactly to the photos on the site). I took care of every detail with love, I want those who stay with me to feel at home, with all the comforts, I also have TV with English sky! Then they find the view wonderful! Going up on the terrace you can enjoy even more and in the evening admire the full moon reflecting on the sea!
“BEST AIRBNB WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN! First thing to say is that you have use of the whole house - it’s YOUR parking place outside, YOUR front door, YOUR first floor living area with balcony across the length of it and YOUR second floor terrace, with views onto the sea at the front and Mount Etna from the back of it. And a BBQ 😊 Aircon works well and is quiet, both bathrooms have excellent showers, the bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped: huge fridge-freezer with ice maker, coffee machine (we were given pods and milk for it), toaster, kettle, juicer, dishwasher & washing machine. The whole house was immaculate - spotlessly clean without being too clinical, a very welcoming home. Sky TV ensured that after a meal out we could chill on one of the 3 sofas and watch a choice of films. Rossella and her husband were at the house to show us around when we arrived, they left us chilled water and a bottle of cold Lemoncello, then answered any questions we had, on text or WhatsApp, very quickly. The sea is 10 metres from your front door and the little inlet of sea opposite the house is perfect for a swim (the sea was fabulously warm, in mid-October) and the rocks that lead into the sea is where people sunbathe and dive into the water. We went to sleep and woke up to the sound of the sea - we closed the shutters but kept the doors open. And we got up one morning at 6.30 and watched the local fishing boats just before the sun rose over the horizon: it was all truly magical.....special memories! There are however a few negatives: 1. You might see less of this beautiful island than you expected to, because you won’t want to leave this beautiful home 2. You won’t have booked for long enough. 3. You’ll have to leave at some point! Truly wonderful, thank you so much, Rossella!”
The apartment is fully equipped, has direct access to the bay and overlooking the blue Ionian Sea. Wrapped from the terrace surrounded by gardens full of native vegetation, the apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom and a double bedroom. Enriched by 60s and 70s family furniture, recovered and restored with passion and attention to detail. The strategic position of Stazzo allows you to easily reach points of interest such as Etna (46 minutes), Taormina (33 minutes) and the city of Catania (29 minutes). In the village, just a few minutes walk, there are two small supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a bar, two restaurants and a pizzeria. On the second Sunday of August, Stazzo celebrates the patron saint, St. John of Nepomuk, whom the Church in the Central Square is dedicated. Throughout the year, the place has a magnificent landscape of sea, and in the summer relax on sunny days, remaining calm and smooth, and the color blue contrasts with the black volcanic cliffs.
“A lovely roomy apartment overlooking the sea. The balcony is lovely and a great place to chill. Livio was a great host. Although there is a shop, bar and restaurant within walking distance, it is a very quiet town (we visited in October-I imagine its different in summer) so would recommend having a car to go off and explore other areas. A great place to chill”
Feel the gentle sea breezes and catch some sun on the flagstoned terrace of this 3-floored property, just a stone's throw from the water. Sleep under vaulted wood ceilings in the attic bedroom, with its adjoining balcony for greeting the new day.
“Casa Nico is a lovely home. Very tastefully furnished and well equipped. It’s very spacious with plenty of balconies and even a small garden. It was lovely to sit on the balcony staring at the sea. Stazzo is a small village with a harbour where the locals go fishing and swim in the sea. It has a couple of pizzerias and bars and a cafe serving delicious granita and brioche. It is well situated for visiting Etna (we got the cable car and bus which although expensive was well worth it). We also went to Taormina and Syracusa. I think it would have been difficult without a car. Driving was somewhat nerve-wracking as the local roads are narrow and the other road users impatient, but we and the car made it intact. Chiara is a fabulous host, very friendly and welcoming. This is perhaps the nicest Airbnb property I have stayed in and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Ionian cost of Sicily.”
