Day trips to Lübeck (old town), Kiel, Bad Segeberg (Karl May Festival), Hamburg or the Halligen or Heligoland are easily doable.

Just enjoy nature, take a bike ride on the dyke or visit one of the nearby beaches (7.5 km away). You can see the Westerhever lighthouse when you stand on our dyke.
