Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. The apartment is bright and cozy on the 2nd floor of my semi-detached house overlooking the countryside. Starnberg Lake and downtown Starnberg is a 15-minute walk away, where many restaurants are located.
