Vacation rentals with a firepit in Stonington

This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

This home was so beautiful- I think even better in person than the photos, and the photos are already beautiful. We felt so at home, Cathy was helpful, responded quickly for any questions I had, gave lots of information on the area and recommendations for food/coffee. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and easy little cottage, lovely porch with wonderful big swing to nap on with the pup, luscious huge lawn to feel space and privacy, and absolutely beautiful lake view, easy rock step into shallow section to launch our floaties and Wayne’s paddle boards. Easy living with picnic table and great Weber grill, and second small fridge in the boat house. A keeper!

I was visiting for the holidays, and happy to find Monica's listing was in easy proximity to family and friends. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and I felt right at home. Though I didn't cook as I was out so much, I did note the kitchen was well supplied. The entire place was clean, neat and as pictured. The large backyard is securely fenced, which with two small dogs I really appreciated. Watching my young dog zip around while I stood on the deck above was great fun. It was an enjoyable stay and I'd re-book for future visits.

On a visit to UConn, this was the perfect place to stay- 10 minutes from campus, close to restaurants and stores, and fully stocked kitchen with all amenities. While we were only there for one night, check-in, check-out, and communication made it seamless. The house is very cute with lots of places to sleep, and great for families.

Heather's home is a jewel. All the mechanicals are topnotch and the house is comfortable and charming. It is clearly a well-loved home. This is our second visit and it feels like a privilege to be allowed to enjoy the ease of the space and the serenity of the area. Heather is a wonderful host who anticipates needs that you didn't even know you had. "A place for everything and everything in its place" seems to be her operating principle. As guests, we very much appreciated this thoughtful aspect of how the house functions. The expectations for guests are clear and appropriate. Should questions need to be answered, Heather is unfailingly prompt and and helpful. At some point in the future we hope to book a summer stay just to try the outdoor shower. It looks amazing! Great location on the East Side of Providence, very walkable to Brown and nearby dining options within a 10 minute walk. Easy drive to anywhere in Providence. Very clear communication + instructions for the apartment.

Staying at Robert’s place was such a great experience. The property was beautiful, and the surrounding area was calm and scenic making it feel like a perfect getaway. Robert was super responsive and easy to talk to, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It was really nice meeting him in person—he even greeted us in Swedish and gave us a little tour of the place, which made us feel extra welcome. We look forward to come visit again to explore the area more!

Elaine’s airbnb was absolutely amazing. It was situated on the second story of their home with a separate, easy access entrance. Upon entering you are treated with a beautifully decorated, well furnished , living room with a large bay window at one end. When you get closer and look out, you are overwhelmed by a spectacular view of the Narragansett Bay. You are so close, if you listen carefully, you can hear the lapping waves. In the morning, the room is filled with the glorious morning sun. The large main bedroom is equally well decorated and has an equally beautiful view of the bay. The smaller second bedroom is fully functional but does not have the view. The apartment had a one fully functional bathroom and a small but updated well equipped kitchen with everything you needed except a dishwasher. No room. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Elaine and Richard and would loved to stay with them again if we return to Wickford.

Annette’s place was perfect! There is always a person at the concierge desk if you have questions. The building is very safe as a key fob is needed to get in and also devices to access the garage area. The place is open and feels bigger than it is for a one bedroom apartment. We chose this area as we were going to the Amica Mutual Pavillion for a concert and we were able to walk to and from the event. We also went into Newport about a 30 minute drive to see the mansions and the cliff walk. It was a quick and relaxing getaway! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you! Marie C.

Sean’s home was in a great location in Federal Hill, walkable to lots of restaurants and shops and east access to downtown and other neighborhoods. Everything with the home was clear and as described. We’d stay again next time we’re in Providence!

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

This was a true gem--the best experience I have had in over 15 yrs of using AirBnb! The attic apartment is as cozy as it looks online, tastefully designed with an aesthetic eye, spotlessly clean, and super well-appointed. The space is lovely and quite luxurious. I am very glad I stayed there as a long-term renter. The weather was not too hot or cold when I stayed, but the heating was easy and controllable by room. Knowing I would be needing to cook meals, do laundry, etc., Susan had truly equipped the apartment with everything I might need, including getting a new countertop oven for baking in case I needed it. She and her family were always helpful and had lots of local suggestions of things to do/see/eat, as needed. They live in the building and Susan is super responsive! The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and its easy to get to/from Brown Univ. I felt safe walking home even after dark. I would stay here again, no question, and I hope I have a chance to come back soon!

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Great lakeside retreat! Perfect for our small family!

Great find! Hidden cottage away from the road, with lots of space to sit indoors and outdoors. Master bedroom spacious but missing blinds, make sure to bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in! Enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Tucked away in the woods right on the lake, it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The cabin itself was adorable, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We only spoke to the host (Angela) briefly, but she was so kind and welcoming, and let us know she was available if we needed anything. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

It was the perfect space for us, cozy and clean. We were out and about for most of our stay, but it was an exceptional place to come back and unwind, relax and hangout. The speaker was a nice bonus. Just wished it didn’t rain as much, would have liked to use the fire pit. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely worth staying here! Fruzsi took a chance renting to me as it was my first time using an airbnb. check in was easy the whole weekend had no issues house was as expected the teens I was hosting went out and played basketball. they went walking on the trails. will likely rent again.
