Family-friendly vacation rentals in Storhaug

My family of three loved Jim’s villa. It’s high up with spectacular views of the sea in front. The rooms are comfortable and the common area for hangout is ample. It’s a pity we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy all the amenities the villa had to provide, but we were blessed with great weather during our stay there, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Very nice and big house with incredible views over the lake.. all things you need for a great stay were available and host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will get back when again in Algard.

This was a great space, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and great location. Only thing to know is if you choose to stay in the loft you need to come down stairs and back in through the apartment door to get to the bathroom. Highly recommended place!

What a wonderful stay in a lovely and cozy cabin! The communication with the landlord was excellent. The cabin is located in a beautiful place with outstanding views of the mountains and the fjord. It was simply a perfect weekend.

The accommodation offered by Mona equals a paradise, we have been at home, the area is very magical and within half an hour you have the main city, with a thousand things to do. Everything was very clean and the attention was unmatched. We will definitely repeat in the future!

The fjordhouse is a lovely old house from where it's great to explore the surrounding area. The house has all you need and is furnished in a really nice way 😃

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Our combined family of 8 had a wonderful stay at Vegard’s home. We were all comfortable with lots of space to spread out. 15 minute walk to Stavanger harbour with restaurants, shops and tours. Would highly recommend staying here!

Communication with Ingrid was extremely friendly and inquiries were responded to quickly and openly. The cabin is really very cute and the ladder into the bedroom has now reached cult status. :D Pure relaxation and the outdoor shower was not a problem at all. The location right by the fjord is fantastic.

The hytte of Helge is perfect! It is a beautiful wooden house with enough space for four persons. The area is great, Preikestolen is close by. Would recommend!

Loved our stay so much we returned two years later for ONS. Business trip for 4-5 and made for a great base for the event, and close to the entertainment each evening while allowing us the ability to keep on top of our work and hold wrap up and 2025 planning meetings.

This is a spacious and cozy cabin, which contains everything you need. The host was very helpful and gave us lots of information and great tips on the local area. We recommend this place further!

John's place is a stylish and spacious apartment, that was very comfortable for the four of us when we stayed in the summer, it has everything you need. It is very centrally located for Stavanger, so we could walk everywhere we needed to get to.

We had perfect stay at Lasse's place :) spacious apartment on the ground floor with car parking. Lasse is very responsive for any questions and offered free EV charging which made our life easier to plan the trip next morning in the beautiful country. I will definitely visit again and recommend to others as well. So it is full 5 stars 🌟

Fantastic place, cosy room, friendly hosts, great little back garden. Centrally located to shops, buses, town! Super friendly people! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Awesome apartment for our stay, located in a tired neighborhood but I am familiar with that from my ten years in Stavanger in the early 2000s. Pedersgata, on the other hand, has become an oasis of dining and outdoor areas, now we were going to confirm so we could not use them. But recognized old favorite on take away which is on the corner at the top of the hill.

Nice spacious house. Close to the water and Stavanger easily accessible.
