Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Mogollon Rim! The cabin is a great escape from the heat at approximately 6000 feet in elevation this cabin provides a comfortable getaway in the Pine-Strawberry community. If features a large deck where we spend most of our time when we are in town. It is located on the Strawberry side of the community and is walking distance from 4 restaurant/bars.
What guests are saying:“Scott’s cabin is a hidden gem just 20 minutes outside of Payson! We stayed for about a week with our two large dogs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Scott was very communicative and gave us a detailed breakdown of checkin information before the start of our stay to help us get settled in quickly. He’s a super nice guy and very flexible. The property manager, Elizabeth, was also extremely helpful during our stay and served as Scott’s right-hand woman while we were there. Both were amazing! We had just left another AirBnb in Flagstaff without a washer/dryer and were very thankful that this location had one available! This cabin also has a beautiful patio with a propane grill and two fire pits! Unfortunately, there was a summer fire ban and we weren’t able to use the fire pits. It was still nice to sit out on the patio and look at the horses across the street. The patio furniture was very comfortable and the chairs even rocked! Overall, the stay was really enjoyable and a great spot to get out of the Phoenix heat! We will be back!”
This newly remodeled cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious loft. Master bedroom features king-sized bed and private bathroom. Second bedroom features queen-sized bed and bathroom across the hall. Loft includes two full beds, a futon, and a play area for kids. Kitchen is stocked with basic appliances and cooking/dining needs. Property is fully fenced with ample parking. Swing set in front yard. Our cabin is surrounded in an abundance of pine trees with a massive deck making you feel like you're truly in the forest. The entire cabin was recently remodeled with the perfect blend of elegance combined with a rustic feel, and modern amenities like wifi, Netflix, real wood burning fireplace, etc Our massive property size provides a huge front yard and backyard, perfect for families and kids
What guests are saying:“We were looking for a last minute get away for our family and we fell upon this very special place in the tall pines. We were able to secure a reservation with no trouble and after a day of hiking it was as though we had found heaven! We had a fantastic barbecued dinner on the huge wrap around deck before surrounding the gas fire pit near by for drinks and conversation. It began to get cold so we built a fire in the fireplace and retired to the oversized leather couch to enjoy it before heading for bed. The beds were very comfortable and everyone got a great nights sleep which was badly needed to prepare for another hike from the nearby Pine Trail. We definitely feel that this one was well worth every penny and we will definitely book it again.”
