“We arrived at Brian and Norma’s the day after Hurricane Dorian, and the power was still out. We are an outdoorsy type of family so we didn’t mind. Brian and Norma had candles and coolers for our food and had everything prepared for us to be as comfortable as possible without power. The cabin was very cozy and it felt good to unplug and just enjoy the place for what it was, which was incredible. The water was warm, so good for swimming, less good for fishing. Still caught one though because of Brian’s insider tips. We wish we could’ve stayed a week longer to be able to enjoy our stay even more thoroughly. Brian and Norma are super down to earth people and we loved how friendly they were. We would definitely come back over and over.”
