Cabin vacation rentals in Sussex

We had a wonderful stay we had at this cozy cabin. We were impressed by all the thoughtful details including a towel warmer, treats for the dogs, a variety of crocs to wear to the hot tub or lake, and everything we needed to cook Easter dinner including a roast pan! The hot tub was lovely and the bbq was top of the line. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. This is a lovely set up for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at Jeff’s for a girls weekend and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The cabin was beautifully built & decorated, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and the outside space was beautifully lit up at night (plus surprisingly private & and tucked away from the other cabins). We went for a little walk up to Cinnamon Soul Cafe in the afternoon and then to Rocco’s for dinner. There were several deer in the front yard for our Saturday morning coffee, and lots of waterfowl in the lake across the road. The weekend was perfection!

Our stay at Natalie and Chris's Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself was incredibly peaceful, offering a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights was the cozy fireplace—it added a warm and inviting ambiance that made the evenings truly magical. Natalie and Chris were outstanding hosts—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was perfect. I can't recommend this place enough and would absolutely return for another tranquil getaway. Thank you, Natalie and Chris, for creating such a wonderful space! Feel free to tweak it as needed! 😊

This was the perfect little getaway and so peaceful. It was cozy, spotless and private. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and the inside of the cabin was thought out carefully in detail and decorated so cozy! My favourite part was sitting outside in the screened in porch relaxing in the comfortable chairs provided while listening to the leaves falling around us and wind blowing through the trees so peacefully. The bed was extra comfortable too. Stacey & Roland were great hosts and I will definitely be back! They even left a birthday card for me which was so thoughtful! Thanks again for having us! ♥️

Beautiful, well equipped cabin. Perfect for 4 people. Closer to the road than expected, thought it was in the woods (as per the pictures) but would be curious to see how private the cabin is with the trees. Nonetheless, the cozy itself was 10/10.

An awesome place to getaway for the weekend. My partner and I and our pup Fundy felt right at home. Kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable, and Paige was very responsive to our messages. Would recommend this spot 100%.

I had a beautiful solo get away at Clair’s place. Very private, nestled in the woods next to a stream, it was exactly what I needed. It’s secluded- perfect for nice walks, sitting in the hot tub with a drink (or two) and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. House was immaculate. I would love to go back and take my husband and children with me.

Beautiful, cozy little spot on the ocean. Clean house with comfortable beds. Nice beach to roam just footsteps from the back door.

Fun rustic cottage with a wood stove. Loved spending time with friends by the fire. Host was well prepared, communicated clearly and quickly. Everything we saw in photos was accurate. Pleased with our choice and would go again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and peaceful gem- a beautiful little cabin next to the river ! Everything you need for a weekend away- shower, bbq, fire pit and a laundry and washing machine.

The cabin we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. The view from the front covered porch was stunning. Everything was exactly as described and the host went out of her way to give us accurate directions and places to stop. She was very good to communicate and make our stay very easy. I would reccomend both the cabin and the host to anyone. The location was quiet and remote, but with plenty of things to do nearby. A must see is the town of Alma, which is stunning and has plenty of restaurants to pick from. I reccomend the Octopuses Garden and the Holy Whale Brewery.

We had a great weekend warming up by the wood stove inside and the fire pit outside. We checked out a few of the nearby hiking trails with our dog and spent time relaxing, cooking, listening to old records and playing classic video games. It was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. We decided to even stay an extra night. Leanne was a great host with excellent communication. We would go back again in a heartbeat! Very clean, well organized, the beds lack a little comfort. The accommodation is very close to the aboiteau beach, very nice and very beautiful! I recommend it!

Gayle was so accommodating letting us book last minute to celebrate our first anniversary at Paws Crossing. My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful rustic cabin nestled in the forest. The serene surroundings and the soothing sounds of nature made for the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The warm wood-burning fireplace created a cozy atmosphere that we absolutely loved. Interacting with the friendly farm animals - Betty, Ted and Sally was one of the highlights of our experience. Our host, Gayle, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature! We are looking forward to returning in the summer time if Gayle would be so kind as to host us again. Exploring the hiking trails (Trans Canada trail) and private swimming pond in the warm weather would be amazing! P.S This is a great bang for your buck!!

A nice spot to get away from it all and recharge.

We had the best weekend at Archie’s Cabin! It was cozy, clean and had the comfiest beds. The outdoor shower was also very clean and a cool experience. Its also right on the water so I can imagine it is even better in the summer. Kit and her co-hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our questions (we had a power outage due to high winds - thank goodness for the indoor fireplace!). I would highly recommend this cute cabin for a getaway and we cant wait to come back this summer!

Very welcoming from the start. The place is cozy and inviting with a rustic vibe. The hot tub was a great way to end the evening with nothing but the sound of the nearby water and a view of the stars. The place is next to their bed and breakfast, but is still very private and peaceful. We will return again in the future.

Moira was a super responsive and accommodating host and helped out with a last minute booking issue. The place was perfect for our needs & as pretty a place as I had hoped for my daughter & son-in-law’sThanksgiving visit with my partner & me. We had everything we needed for a cozy & comfortable stay. Great location for exploring the Bay of Fundy area - we got to see Hopewell Rocks at high & low tide, Cape Enrage lighthouse & Fundy National Park - all very close. Alma has quite a few restaurants to choose from & The Octopus’ Garden did not disappoint. All in all, a great trip and would definitely recommend to anyone, plus hope to come back again sometime!
