Charming cottage on your own island

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. With your own island, no one will bother you. The cottage is simple and charming, of 25 m², and has a bedroom with two beds as well as a sofa bed in the living room. You have access to a boat and your own jetty. The property also offers its own dasshus and the clean lake Fiolen for refreshing swims. Water is picked up at Mellskogsgård, where you can also charge phones and other technology. On the mainland, cows migrate in pastures, and for fishing enthusiasts, it is possible to buy a fishing license.

The service residence at Storön Gården

On Storön you get to experience the tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. The big island is a car-free island with no land connection. Here is Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there is nice ice for cross-country skating. The service residence is located on a farm and every day there is the possibility to come along and feed the animals.

The cottage is beautifully situated close to the sea. Very basic standard. No running water nor electricity. Water is brought from Sävö farm where you can also charge your mobile. There is kitchenware such as cutlery, cups and plates and gas cooker. Bring your own sheets - there are mattresses, blankets and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed. List of the equipment on our web site savogard. You clean the cottage yourself before departure.
