There are many restaurants around Hikone Interchange, and there are also hot spring facilities and supermarkets, which are very convenient. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
